Can this triple wall pipe go under my driveway? It will be 12in to the top of the pipe below grade. Also I will be using 1in river rock with some fines (about 1/8in) for about 9in of fill, with about 3in asphalt over the fill.

Should this pipe be glued? Can it? I'm using it for a french drain and don't want to worry about it coming apart.

Asked by: Dan
Yes it can be glued with pvc cement - but you probably don't need it - it probably won't move

Which connector can be used to easily connect two of these?

Which connector can be used to easily connect two of these? Also, is there a connector that has a bit of flexibility to make a slight angle when connecting these. Also, what is the drain basin or inlet that HD sells that can be used to more easily collect the water to be drained? (the drain basin in the video, is that sold at Home Depot)?

I recently purchased this item for a DIY outdoor french drain installation. Most resources and forums advised on placing a drain sleeve onto such a system. This pipe received a 4 star due to its perforated holes not being cleared after fabrication. It appears that when the holes were drilled the pipes never received a smoothening action for the surface which subsequently tore holes into my drain sleeve. Now in hindsight, I would place the issue onto operator error for not inspecting the work of others.

I was having a bunch of pooling water in my backyard which make my basement very humid. I probably laid down about 250 feet of this pvc drainage pipe. I did it all by hand (shovel) I did not use a machine. I wish I had because I hit so many rocks and roots it was ridiculous. Since I was doing this job I also connected all of my gutter down spouts to the drainage pipes. Not only does my yard look so much nicer but all water has now been piped far away from my home. When ever you can do something that gets water away from your foundation DO IT.
