Customer Questions & Answers

Will this corrugated pipe fit over 4" pvc drain pipe or is there an adapter for this?

Asked by: Ben
yes, the bell end can receive 4 inch PVC, but it will be a lose fit. If you are using it for drainage, and burying it, there will not be a problem.

4 in. x 10 ft. Corrugated HDPE Drain Pipe Solid with Bell-End is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cheapest + Easiest, but connections leak Hi everyone, a few suggestions concerning this product for you to get the best result: 1, Use the fewest amount of connections. 2, Warning: don't use product connections if water leakage is a concern; for example, if water/humidity is seeping into your basement) because all of the connections leak. Instead, use one long piece or a different product. 3, Ensure good slope so that less water will leak out of connections + so that water will exit the tubing rather than stay in the corrugated ribs. 3, Flexible and will mold to any trench and you can EASILY cut to length with a box cutter. 4, Consider drainage pipe with smooth wall inside to most effectively move water (and any debris) from downspout to exit. This product is widely used because it's the cheapest; however, all connections leak. The question is, for your purpose, do the leaks underground matter or not?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from corrugated drain pipe I used this pipe to drain water away from downspouts and it works quite well. mine are buried for a ways downslope from the drain pipt - some are 2 lengths of pipr joined by a connector. The site description is poorly written as it appears to cost $5.41 per foot - that is the price for a 10 foot length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy & economical I recently installed a French drain system using this pipe & it is much studier than the first pipe I purchased at a different store (it was the kind that's only 3 or 4 feet long when you get it and then you have to pull it apart so all of the corrugated parts pop out). I had no problem linking them together and it's functioning well. Will definitely buy this kind from now on instead of the compact package kind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect as a Gutter-downspout extender! I attached this flexible pipe on the end of my gutter downspouts, to carry the water farther away from my house's foundation and out beyond the flower bed. It was very simple, quick & easy to do and works perfectly for this task. No alterations or special tools needed, just a box cutter or sharp knife to (easily) cut the pipe to your required length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The bell end makes easy for coupling. I like this corrugated pipe. it is very strong, and easy to use, and easy on money. The bell end makes it easy for coupling more pipes without additional parts/extra couplings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from did what I wanted it to do. Wish there were a better way to secure the seams so they were watertight. did what I wanted it to do, but I wish there were a better way to secure the ends so it doesn't leak.
