4 in. x 100 ft. Corex Drain Pipe Solid is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pipe I used this pipe for a drainage project in the side yard. In heavy downpours, water eroded part of the front lawn. With two drains and this pipe I have diverted most the water. The pipe is easy to work with and forms to whatever trench you need. I cut it easily with a utility knife.

Product is fine, but the thing I would like to highlight is the excellent service provided by the clerk at the Service Desk who ordered the pipe for me. My local HD store did not have the product in stock, and this wonderful clerk worked very hard to order the product for me and have it sent to my home.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Received in Damaged Condition Not "ADS" brand, corrugated sides seem thinner. Damaged, scratched with holes in pipe, didn't notice until I got it home. Too much of a pain to return, will try to seal it myself. Don't buy this product, go with ADS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Many uses besides drain pipe. For example, passive solar heater for pool! Pros: very light easily cut (cut between the ribs with a box knife) not expensive! Cons: Tends to want to stay in a coil, straightening it out is a challenge ;-> If you are using it as drain pipe, it will hold water in the corrugation and breed mosquitoes. I am using this stuff in a non standard installation. I use it at the first of the season as a solar pool heater. I have a small auxillary Hayward pool pump. I lay this drain pipe out on the deck, and during daylight hours, I run water through it, back into the pool. The 100' will raise the temperature of the water flowing through it, about 1.5 degrees. The pump is model SP1580 - 87 gallons per minute at 10 feet of head. Since the pool sits on the pool deck, and there is an inflow pipe that goes 1' into the water (WITH AN ANTI-ENTRAPMENT piece of pvc attached), the outflow is 2' above the pump, where the drain pipe slides on. That gives me roughly (very roughly, I do know how to do math) 5k gallons per hour. My pool is 18k gallons. So in a day with 8 hours of direct sunlight, I can raise the temp of the pool approximately 4 degrees, not including the solar gain from the sunlight hitting the pool. Pretty cheap solar heater. Not a terribly useful review for gutter drain hose, but it is what I used it for. Doesn't leak, but can be torn by sharp objects, so be careful dragging it around, particularly if it is full of water.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cheapest and easiest, but leaks at all connections 1, Use the fewest amount of connections. 2, Warning: don't use product connections if water leakage is a concern; for example, if water/humidity is seeping into your basement). The connections all leak. Instead, use one long piece... or a different product. 3, Ensure good slope so that less water will leak out of connections + so that water will exit the tubing rather than stay in the corrugated ribs. 3, Flexible and will mold to any trench and you can easily cut to length with a box cutter. 4, Consider drainage pipe with smooth wall inside to most effectively move water (and any debris) from downspout to exit. This product is widely used because it's the cheapest; however, all connections leak. The question is, for your purpose, do the leaks matter or not? Good Luck!
