Answer:
Thank you for the question. Providing your pump is capable of creating that pressure, you are able to adjust the switch to that desired setting of 45/55. Please follow the adjustment instructions included in the packaging for the pressure switch or call the manufacturer.

Answer:
Thank you for the question. We suggest first turning the power off to the system, double check all the wiring per the instructions and also checking the water pressure inlet to the switch to make sure it is clean and clear of any sediment and or debris.

Answer:
Thank you for the question. There are several things to consider when a pressure switch will not turn off in a well system. The most common issue is that the pump is not creating enough pressure to signal the switch to turn off, in this case it is possible the pump may need rebuilt or replaced. Please call 844-251-7446 for technical support.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wow, great pressure switch!!! Great product! I bought a house pump from Harbor Freight for my irrigation system and that switch that came with it never shut-off. I bought this HD switch and just wired it in thru the switch housing that was part of the pump. It was very easy to do and I also bought the 44 gallon Water Works pressure tank from HD and put it in my crawl space (no easy task as I had to dig a little under house beams to get the tank in, but it was well worth it). I did have some leaks, unrelated to this switch. I used Teflon tape and ended up redoing with the plumbers goo for the threaded connections and that did the trick! Also, with this switch you can tighten the spring to achieve up to 85 lbs of pressure. I backed off to 75 lbs. instead of the default 60 lbs just to get all the heads up initially because I have more heads than recommended per zone. I have an awesome set up with the house pump, HD pressure switch and Water Works pressure tank. It will stand any sprinkler head at attention!!! I am on city water, but the knuckleheads that put my main water line in used a 3/4 pipe. Who does that to a house? Anyway this set up I have more than makes up for it. Highly recommend this setup even if you have a 1" to the house. Good luck!!! June 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Accurate, adjustable, robust I had a 30/50 lb version of this for a dozen years and it never failed. I got a new one to upgrade to a bigger pressure tank and 40/60 pressure. Easy to wire up, working fine. January 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Suberb Your basic pressure switch. Bought this and did my own residential replacement of my old 18 year old switch instead of calling the pros. Looks good works well, gave everything 5 stars. Easy installation because I'm just that darn good. Highly recommended. Even though it's a 40/60 switch I used the adjustment to crank it up to 55/75. I swapped out my old pressure gauge for a new one too, I recommend it if it's old and rusty. Thanks for a quality product. October 16, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ease of installation Had buy 40/60 pressure switch, as my old one was only 30/50, did not want to adjust to bring it up, time for a new one January 17, 2014
