Tube doesnt stay attached, only one of two bags fill & lid doesnt close tight so grass & weed seeds blow out all over. Worst bagger that have ever owned. The Ariens mower we purchased at same time is a piece of junk. What has happened to Home Depot quality & service?

I've only had the bagger and Ariens tractor for about a year now. The self-tapping bolts came right out of the tractor and now there is a huge bumb. Screws wont stay in at all. Not sure what to do at this point. I usually have decent luck with Ariens. Not this time around...

I installed this on a Ariens 17.5 HP 42" mower. Install took all of 5 minutes and was super easy. Came with all necessary hardware. I have not cut wet grass yet but works well with tall dry grass. Did not have any clogging issues. Bagger tends to fill one side much more than the other but I switch bags around and that solves the problem. Overall a good product.

Great purchase. I was tired of my lawn clipping/debris being left on the lawn after I cut the grass. I have a really thick lawn and it just made a mess. I have an Ariens lawn mower I bought about 5 years ago and this bagger installed with no problems. This was the best bang for your buck bagger that I could find and am very pleased with it. Worth the money! When the bags are full easy to dump out. If I had to complain about anything it would be it has two bags instead of three. I have a little less than 1/2 acre so I have to dump the bags after I cut the front yard before cutting the back. That would be my only complaint and it really is not that big of a deal. It takes an extra 2 minutes, so what. It also made cutting the grass easier because my mower was not bogging down going back over the already cut grass. 300.00 bucks is expensive for plastic but it fit perfect works great I could not of built something for this without it looking like out of madmax.

We love it! A little time to hook up the bagger system to the mower and we were off and running! The fall leaves are falling and how nice it was to NOT rake! This is a great addtion to the mower. Easy to dump the bags after collecting the clippings & leaves which was really compact and held a large amount. The time saver is fabulous.

Unfortunately, this product didn't come close to meeting my expectations. First, the canopy was cracked upon arrival which I thought was due to shipping or packing but quickly found out that the plastic it is constructed out of is very brittle. The plastic bottom of one of the bags cracked during my first use while emptying it and was followed by the top of the bag cracking putting it back on the mower. Second, and most frustrating, it clogs constantly. I am unable to complete a single pass without shutte the mower off and tearing it apart to clear the clog. I could understand if the grass was wet but its not, after 2 weeks of sun and heat its just green and healthy. I have only attempted to use it twice now and have had to resort to removing the bagger and raking up the grass to get the job done in a timely manner. I have an acre of grass that usually takes an hour just to mow and rake not including trimming. I found myself still mowing and uncloging 3 hours in trying to use the bagger. My experience could be a one off and not typical or it might not be meant for application, but I am still disappointed. I love my Arien's rider puchased at Home Depot though, it has never let me down, or my rake (LOL).
