Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by avemaria great but buy individually if you can
the pit looks beautiful but we bought individually to save a few hundred dollars.. the main bricks you'll need 12 of them per row for a total of 36.. they run $3.18 each in the store right now. The mini bricks you'll need an equal number to the large.. they run $0.68 each.. that's about $140 for the bricks.. then figure about 60 bucks for the pit insert and you're at around $200 vs. $462 for the kit..
main blocks weigh around 20 pounds each (750 pounds)
mini blocks weigh 3.5 pounds each (126 pounds)
so if you have a truck it's a given you can haul under 900 pounds.. even in a car i'd make the extra trip or two to save over $250...

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dzg006 Great looking fire pit and easy install
When it first arrived, the metal firepit insert was smashed and dented. I went to the local store and they fixed me up right there nice and fast. All the stone was in good shape (no broken pieces) Everything went together very easy. I added 2" of river stone inside the stone pit just because I put this on top of my newly made patio and I did not want the heat from the bottom of the fire pit bowl to crack any of my patio blocks. We have since had several fires in it and really love it. I also like the fact that it is modular, so in the future, if I wanted to add another row of stone to make it a little taller I could easily do that. Instead of buying a cover to protect the metal bowl from the rain and snow, I opted to just remove the bowl and put it in one of our deck boxes when not in use. This is also where the river rock is nice too , because it makes it still look like a finished fire pit.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rich This Firepit is an excellent doit yourself project.
The Firepit arrived in good condition except for the insert which was dented. However I contacted customer service and they are sending me a new one. Overall this purchase was easy to order and easy to assemble. It looks great and is welcome addition to my backyard. The quality of the stones is very good and the color is consistant throughout.

We live on a creek and have been wanting a patio fire pit for many years. This pit is inexpensive, beautiful, easy to assemble, and wonderful to use.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Steve47 Excellent Price and great value
Great product for the value, very easy to install and looks great. Have received many compliments and adds to any outdoor cook-outs. I would recommend this product to everyone. I bought on-line and had it delivered to the store and pick it up myself. Everything was there and in one piece.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Rob over priced fire pit
Not worth the price, probably would have been cheaper just to buy different stones and a fire pit ala cart. received kit from Pavestone incomplete missing stones.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by tony On line purchase of a fire pit
Came missing five of the larger blocks. Went to my local store in New Hartford, Ct to purchase the missing blocks and found the same exact fire pit on sale for $190.00. I had just spent $450 on this fire pit on line.

The fire ring works well... it is nice and the stone looks god....
Big disappointment in the so called directions... when you get the booklet in the store it directs you to the directions for instructions... all it is is a video of someone putting the fire pit together in 30 seconds... no instructions at all, big joke! Don't tell you how to grade the land... to put stone down if you aren't putting it on pavers.... if you need sand...... I would be embararssed if I told someone those are the directions on how to build the fire pit....
