This bagger is a material and engineering disaster. It is almost impossible to get on the deck,it jams with grass constantly, the bags fall off regularly,it might as well be cardboard. Two of four handles are broken and the the rims on both bags are split. The rubber band that holds the tubes together is split. Totally useless.

Other than size of bags cannot be more happy with my purchase. Made yard cleanup 100 percent easier. Desined to assemble easily and it did.Glad i did not go by the reviews i read on here.

I purchased this recently for my Ariens, Model # 960460056, 46 in. 20 HP V-Twin Briggs & Stratton Automatic Gas Front-Engine Riding Mower. I purchased the mower in late May 2014, I also provided a review for it. The bagger works great. It was an easy install. I have about an acre of hardwoods and the leaves get out of control during the winter season. I do have a couple suggestions for anyone looking to purchase it... it will clog if the grass and/or leaves are wet. Also, the bags will fill quickly if mowing leaves, and again it will clog. As long as you're mindful of this and don't overfill it, it works great. I'm pleased with the bagger.

There have been multiple write ups about the seal between the chute and the bagger assembly not staying in place when connecting the bagger and also emptying the bags. There certainly could have been an aluminum ring on each side that had some bolts to hold the seal in place. The first time I assembled it i had the seal pop off. I reinserted it and put some baby powder on it to reduce friction as the chute slid into place. This kept it in, and it now has a fine layer of powdered grass/dirt to keep it "lubed" and in place. I plan to make a ring to hold it in place for the next time I use it. Other than that, it does exactly what it says it does. It even has a little paddle on the chute that turns to let you know that the chute is not clogged.

Yep... It bags... My only wishes were that it held more. Cleaning up about half-an-acre of land that hadn't been maintained in 2+ years... Lots of old growth oak and pine... I was emptying the bags every 500 ft or so... I don't imagine this would be a problem for people already on top of their property maintenance. Also make sure everything is seated properly, it isn't very tolerant to being misaligned or improperly seated on the deck exhaust. Otherwise a complete lifesaver.. It has already paid for itself compared to the amount of manual raking and bagging I otherwise would have had to do.

The only issue that I found with this product is a seal that does not stay in place ( secured the seal ...WORKS GREAT).

Easy to mount. Works as advertised. Easy to empty. My kids have no problem operating the unit. Only issue I have found is that the seal that goes around the chute where it enters the bagger unit has a tendency to pop out. Unit still works but it is annoying and will have to be glued in place.
