What kind adhesives work best ? What kind structural integrity ? Why are``Blue`` & ``Green``not available ? Are there any other lengths available ? Is there anyone at anyone at any `` HD`` that knows anything about this product ? Can it be painted ? Is it really available ? Is it ,``Blue ``Green ``or ``Red``, compatible with ``West system`` products ?

- Any good quality construction adhesive will work, but best NOT on the foil side, - Since it's just chip board [pressed paper product], it's definitely NOT gonna be nearly as strong as...oh, perhaps 1/4" ply! - It's not a big "mover" [high use], so this is the only product sold in the Albuquerque NM area; there may be a greater selection for this product in Texas, among other states. - Nope! 4'x8' is the only size available here. - It can be painted, but again....not on the foil side. Remember, it's a compressed paper product [think the back side of a pad of 8-1/2" x 11" writing pad....that extra thick grey colored stiff card stock]. - It's currently available in Albuquerque, but only in the RED stock that's about .115" [a wee bit under an 1/8"] thick - Can't respond to compatibility with "Western System" products; you'll have to call them

How effective would Thermoply be as a radiant barrier in attics?

I am thinking about fastening to the underside ot top truss members to help lower temperature in attic.

Modest, and only if your current home is not very energy efficient.

While this product is intended for insulating and sheathing walls, I used it to as "flooring" to cover the very rough concrete under the crawl space of our home. When we've had to get under our house for doing wiring, annual pest inspections, etc,., crawling on rough - and I mean very rough and uneven - concrete was not only painful, but also often ending up in torn clothing and/or scrapes on our skin. When I saw our general contractor use ThermoPly to cover our hardware floors while the construction team was bringing tools and equipment in and out of our home remodeling project, I realized that I could use the same material as a "flooring" in the crawl space. While cutting the ThermoPly to fit and then working in a tight space to put it down on the concrete, the result is a great solution and makes it so much easier to get under our house for repairs, storage, and cleaning.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Thermo ply is foil faced cardboard Thermo ply is foil faced cardboard that is as structural as a toothpick and as waterproof as a papertowel. It cannot be left out exposed for any length of time. All it really does is a temporary moisture barrier if installed correctly.I tar paper over it all the time for a real moisture barrier behind T111.
