Does this turn gray color out in the elements?

Asked by: Mido
Yes, for sure. That's why the store in my local area keeps the stack covered. The stack is in an open area exposed to rain and full sun. I found out because I couldn't find them when I first visited the store. The gardening section manager showed me where the stack was and explained why they are covered. This may explain why a rival store keeps them indoors in the lumber section.

Can you butt these boards together while installing like you would for a pressure treated picket, or do you need to leave a gap between the pickets? Using pine in the past I would butt together and they would shrink to leave a gap. Same thing with cedar?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better quality than expected. Boards were clean, straight, and cut squarely. I used them to build a vegetable trough to grow vegetables on my deck.
