5 in. Element Wrench is rated 2.4 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not purchase! Waste of money! I bought this in a pinch, because I didn't have my big socket set handy. This socket isn't marked with the size, so it doesn't have to maintain tighter manufacturing tolerances. 1/8 of slack in comparison to my Craftsman 1 1/2" 3/4 drive socket. It doesn't have a Bung for a 1/2" drive breaker bar, and you can't grip the outside with a pipe wrench. Which,I tried as a last resort, when I did torque on it, the contact pads deformed. So in essence this tool is garbage. Please Everbilt give us a tool that'll actually do something.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money I was totally disgusted with this mass produced tool. My old heating element had a bit of corrosion on it and the tool wouldn't budge it. It rapidly rounded off the corners and then just spun in place. I went out and purchased a 1 1/2 inch socket which performed perfectly. The special tool was a total waste of money and found its way to the trash .

Rated 3 out of 5 by from could be better These stamped sockets fit a little sloppy and make the fact that you do not have that much of the element to grip a knuckle busting job. That said I can't imagine doing it without some kind of socket, (pump pliers alone) so this is a lot better than nothing. This was relatively cheap and got the job done if "only just". The "Camco 9953 Professional Water Heater Element Socket" seems like a better option but haven't tried that one yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it says Does what it says. Just drain the tank turn the water and electric off. Remove wires. Put it on the element and remove.
