Answer:
Before erecting a fence higher than 6 ft., be sure to check your local zoning codes. Many municipalities limit fence height to 6 ft., requiring a variance to erect anything higher. One of the purposes of this rule is to prevent "spite" or "hate" fences.

Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. The tallest fence panel we carry is 6 foot. You can however, check with a professional in the fencing department in your local store to see if special order options are available. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot.

Answer:
Yes, these can be mounted side by side with no gaps. However, pressure treated lumber has a relatively high moisture content when first purchased. As the wood dries out, it will shrink slightly and that shrinkage can produce gaps of 1/8 to 1/4 inch between the individual vertical boards.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Boards consistent size and quality easy to assemble The shipment arrived as scheduled and was well packed. May 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice fence I bought this fence in May , 2014 and had it install in June and it's a beautiful fence all my neighbors love it but now the fence is warping really bad and bowing and getting gaps in it I'm so disappointed and it's only been one month it was install right I just don't know what to do about it I spend a lot of money on this fence Home Depot said I could return it but that's a lot of work and more money I think that the panels are too thin and wasn't pressure treated. July 6, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by hang quick So wet you can milk it. You better hang the entire thing quickly. If you give it a chance to dry, expect to have at least 50% twist and warp on you. March 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by looks great , easy installation needed privacy fence for one end of pool area. this fence is perfect for this purpose. the material has a more expensive look, and was easy to install. kit included screws and driver tip. makes me wish i had done this years ago. received nothing but great comments from many neighbors. July 9, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Reasonable product quality and cost I bought several packages of this along with posts to build an outdoor shower and door. Although some of the boards weren't clear and straight, buying extra material allowed me to build an excellent outdoor shower. I used the extra material that was lower quality to build a separating wall in the shower and some covered shelving. Looks great and the cost was very reasonable compared to buying high quality outdoor shower kits. Just make sure you allow for 10-20% excess so you end up with a really nice installation. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Looking Provides a nice looking privacy fence. Downside was that the screws that were provided in the package began breaking after the first rain and dry out cycle. The vertical boards continued to buckle as the screws continued to break and some of the boards fell off of the backer boards. This required that I purchase #8 construction screws and completely reassemble the fence with new screws. Many of the original screws were so weak that they broke off when I attempted to remove them. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not really Spent the extra money for what I thought would be a quality fence. Wrong! After less then a year a lot of pickets need replaced April 4, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I looks like I imagined The fence looks amazing. Very easy to assemble, they even include screws. I installed it in a shadow box style. Originally I was going to install it on one side of the property, but after seeing the final design, I decided to do the other side as well. So I bought more. To make it last longer, I sprayed it with waterproofer, it just made the fence a bit darker which I honestly think looks much better. Some boards were cracked and crooked so that's the only issue I had with the product. August 13, 2014
