I've been looking for a new extension pole ever since my old wooden one snapped. The Total-Reach pole is sturdy and the variable extension up to six feet makes it easy to use in tight spots. I use the pole mostly for painting walls and ceilings with a roller. This saves having to move the ladder which makes work go faster. It has a plastic threaded connection that accepts the roller handle and a collar in the middle of the pole that is used to set the pole length up to six feet. The thread is standard broom size and accepts all my attachments. Other uses are with a squeegee for reaching up to clean outside windows without a ladder and a threaded boat hook to string lights for the Holidays. This pole is made of aluminum, light weight and has the stiffness to press the squeegee up against a window. . Wouldn't recommend it for heavy-duty use where a lot of pressure is needed like scrubbing siding on a house. I liked my wooden pole, but when it was time to replace it this is better. It stores down to three feet and its small size is not in the way.

If you are looking for a light weight adjustable pole for light duty cleaning or dusting then this is perfect. The pole is infinitely adjustable with a quick twist and the light weight is nice for reaching high ceilings. If you are looking for heavy scrubbing or scraping this pole might be too light.

Unlike many lesser quality extension poles, this one holds fast. It's lightweight and the 6ft reach is very nice. A simple twist of the shaft and you can tighten the extension to whatever length you need.

I used the extension pole to paint walls over the last two weekends. Very easy to handle and locks in place well when you need to ajust the extension length.
