I had purchased 3 last year in the summer and the performed flawlessly. Order 3 more this spring based on the results of the first 3. The stay on all night and even in the winter months gave good run times.

As of today we have been very happy with our outdoor solar post cap lights. The outdoor has a very pleasant look. Shipping was on time. Unpack, direct to sunlight for 24-48 hours turn on. As of today no problems.

They are ascetically pleasing. I would say the quality was fair based on that are still intact after 20 plus months. Quality and value are the issue for $28 you would expect that they would last more then 20 months. I have six that were manufactured on 4/29/2013 and installed in August of 2013. They do not work. All re-chargeable batteries were replaced this month and nothing. Thirty dollars for batteries (12) or $28 each to replace. Not a good value, do not purchase unless you have money to throw around.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by GreenGrass2014 They don't last
These lights are easy to install and they look great, but they don't last. I have six on my deck and within a week one was out; after two weeks two more were out so three of the six weren't working; within a few months a total of five had stopped working, and finally the sixth went. I was able to exchange some of the lights that went out within 90 days. Overall, these are a pain to deal with. If you buy them you will find yourself driving to Home Depot once a month for the first three months to exchange them. After that you will have to deal with the manufacturer until the warranty runs out. At that point just buy better lights or cap the posts with non-light caps.

I purchased 8 lights for my deck in early April. And for the first 4 months I was very happy. Not the brightest but worked great. Lit up the area and was a great accent. About 4 weeks ago the first light stopped holding a charge and working. Now all 8 have stopped working. So in the matter of 5 months all of my lights stopped functioning. I'm outside the 90 day return so I guess I'm stuck with either no light or buying new ones that will most likely last 5 more months. Very disappointed. Unless you are flipping your house and won't be around in a couple months don't purchase this product.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by JP999 Solar Post Cap Looks Good... While it Lasts...
I purchased twelve (12) Solar Post Cap Lights. I left them sitting on my deck for a couple of days to test them. They all worked well initially. Placed them on every other post around my property. They look great day and night atop my white vinyl fence and were easy to install. Although there are four (4) LED bulbs in each fixture, light is dim "accent" lighting at best.
Some of my lights do not get full sun all day and do not last but two or three hours once they light up. One light stopped working after a couple of days (not charging). I am still waiting for a promised replacement.
Overall, I would recommend these lights for the purpose they serve... they look nice and add a little extra touch to your yard at night.

I am very pleased with these lights. They were easy to install and I liked how they came WITH the accessories to fit different size posts. The light they give off is a radiant white but not overly bright and give off a neat pattern. I have only had them up for two weeks but so far, perfect in every way.

These solar post lights replaced two others that quit. They were bought in winter in New Jersey, so recharge time is not great. They work fine, but only time will tell how good and how long. As a whole, I am disappointed with solar lights. They might work well in South California or places that get lots of sunshine every day and nights are relatively short, but where recharge time isn't that long, they just don't last all night.
