Answer:
It's an E26 base, however, the US E26 will fit in a European E27 base, and the European E27 will fit in a US E26 base.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.2 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by same problem as a reviewer below: plastic housing prevents contact I tried to screw it into the housing but it wouldn't make contact with the center piece. If the white plastic part on this adapter were thinner, it could make contact. Poorly designed. February 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great Would be nice if there was a 3 prong screw in. But I know that's not possible cause than whatever is plugged in wouldn't be grounded. September 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked great. This item worked great in our outdoor Christmas display. We used the Gemmy Music and Lights Show we purchased from Home Depot and the lights had to be connected in a certain way. This allowed the use of all items to be tied together. March 25, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by lousy product would not screw into the light bulb socket deep enough to make contact with the center conductor. Plastic housing keeps it from screwing in deep enough. January 31, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by works great - just what we needed We needed something to use to adapt our porch light so that we could plug in holiday lights. Works great for this. November 17, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The adapter allowed easy Christmas decoration outside. I was glad to find these with the Christmas decorations so I didn't have to travel throughout the store. The adapter works just fine. I have used it for another purpose too. January 10, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by this product is good but missing ground hole you will need to but a reducer plug so that you can go from a 3 prong to a 2 hole since it is missing the ground hole December 12, 2011
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by BOO, HISS! This literally fell apart the first time I tried to use it. January 17, 2012
