I had poured an RV pad with some down spout drains embedded in the pad.
I needed to clean up the edges of the drains after the concrete set as there was a very thin layer of concrete (rough 1/8" ) smeared on the edges of the drain squares.
After reading the uses for this piece, "Use on wood, concrete, brick, porcelain, ceramics and tile." I figured this would be perfect for squaring off the edges of my drain covers.
It worked great for about 4" worth of cutting, then it virtually stopped cutting altogether.
I would assume a tool that indicates it can be used on concrete and costs a premium of over $17 would last a lot longer than what it did. Huge disappointment!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by john Great cutting wheel for small ceramic and some cement cutting jobs
When I first look at the wheel I wondered if it was going to be able to do what I needed but I was so amazed when I applied it to the ceramic and was able to make smooth clean cats and use the wheel to smooth out the tile also and you been to grind small pieces of cement when I was putting the tile in place I recommend having at least two when doing a job because the wheel works really hard but I didn't use it for an extensive amount of time just to cut three large 22 inch tiles

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by ohthatguy Complete and utter garbage for cutting tile
I picked up this wheel for a tile back splash I was doing. I just need to make a few small cuts and one or two longer (3 inch) cuts. It did a horrendous job, could barely make small cuts and it took forever. It is totally not worth 20 bucks. I am very disappointed.

It will cut through the toughest tile. But you do have to allow the speed of the wheel do the cutting and do not press hard to cut through. Using excessive force will burn out your Dremmel. I have used the cut wheel for about 5 tiles that needed cutouts, so far the wheel looks like it can cut many more, so not sure of the lifespan but for the homeowner that may use this limited times, I give it an A+

I used the recommended model 545 to cut a around a few door jams and burned thru two blades and still not done. Do not use this product on ceramic tile. Was not satisfied.

Was able to remove excess glaze (glass) from hand made bowls. Cut through the glass like lags and smoothly removed excess glaze.
