7 in. Aluminum Spikes and 5 in. Plastic Ferrules (10-Pack) is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from too soft & dont work well.... go with screws instead These nails are very hard to pound into even soft pine boards, the tips are not sharp and material is so soft the nails bend long before they are driven in....they will ruin the new rain gutter when they bend, kinking and creasing it making it look horrible. I ended up pre drilling several to even finish the project. This is all they had in stock and I wanted to get the project done....had to replace 2 new sections that the nails damaged re hang everything with the screw type fasteners anyway....nothing worse than doing a project twice due to poor material.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bend easily!!! These spikes are easily bent. Do not use on SmartSiding fashia board, this wood is to hard for these spikes. They bent on the 3rd hammer strike each time. After 3 spikes in a row bent... I was done with them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I can't use them The metal used in these spikes must be too light, they feel it. My hammer can't get them to go into the fascia no matter how hard I pound. Since I predrilled a hole for them in the actual gutters before hanging them I can't forget about them. I'm going to have to try predrilling into the fascia too in order to get these spikes IN. Hopefully if I use a drill bit slightly smaller they will go in AND hold once they're there, but I have my doubts.
