Customer Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Needs Bigger Flange This product mostly met my need for a 90 degree, 6" round starting elbow. I did not need it to reduce from 7" to 6," but I could not locate a 6 x 6 using the HD search function. I found that frustrating. Anyway, the lip-flange end of the elbow is nearly useless because it is so insignificantly small. It forced me to spend a long time finely measuring, cutting and filing the duct opening so that the duct hole did not present any gaps after connection. I was surprised I succeeded for the most part, and I used a lot of sealant and duct tape to seal around it. But in the interest of HVAC efficiency, a larger lip-flange would really make more sense and improve this product. August 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Adding havoc vent Very simple install just make perfect circle with paper plate, trace it where you want the hole in your duct, drill many small holes around your line and cut out with utility knife. Install elbow and bend tabs over. February 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked as expected Worked great. Would prefer the tabs to be a little bit larger however. February 17, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Value, Easy to pick up Nice Reducer, easy to use. Home Depot needs to working on buying all the parts one would need to install ductwork but the parts like this one they do buy are good March 11, 2014
