Product Overview

Composting has entered the 21st century with the amazing rolling ecomposter. Your composter is like a ball-simply roll it to where you need to, and have fun while you work. Not only is this invention simple and easy to use for the whole family, its scientific features work to generate compost faster than most other options. Use rich black organic compost to feed your vegetables and flowers. Compost needs a few key ingredients besides your garden waste and organic kitchen scraps. Those natural greens to get things started and then natural heat to speed things up, air to sustain the process, and mixing to keep things active. All of that has never been easier than now. Simply open the twist lock top and add your greens, let the natural microbes start brewing and creating their own internal heat while the many air tubes continuously feed those microbes. Then once it’s turned to rich dark organic compost, just roll it to the exact location you want to remove and feed your vegetables, flowers and shrubs. Or just keep the ecomposter in one place using the base to house your composting unit. The marvelous ecomposter composting system is the easiest way to collect and create rich organic compost for your gardens.

Customer Reviews

71 gal. Composter with Rolling Base is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from 2nd year lid won't open This was a great composter last summer when I got it. I have two of them, so I can one composting in peace while I add to the other But this spring getting the lids off has been nearly impossible. My husband and I finally got one open, at great cost to the skin on our hands, but the other one will not budge. The lids are very poorly designed with little in the way of handles to grab, and the opening utensil that came with them is flimsy and doesn't grip well. Finally, the round design meant to ease rolling ends up making the the whole thing roll when you try to open the lid, greatly reducing your leverage and scraping your fingers to boot. If you can avoid latching the lid (which limits the tumbling range), it works well at composting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best Composter I have Found A bit larger than I expected (good). Other reviews mention non-stainless hardware. The only fasteners used in this product are non corrosive plastic rivets and a couple of stainless bolts. The rivet style is similar to the automotive industry and are sure to last a LONG time. The rollers in the stand are a bit rough, but that is likely due to loose tolerances to help shed dirt and debris that is sure to accumulate. Easy to open both size access holes on both ends. Came with a wrench to make the hand hole easier to open, but so far not needed. The composter is also the "best Looking" one out there. AT least it's not an eye sore and everyone that does happen to see asks what the heck it is. You will need some very basic tools to assemble. A small mallet or hammer helps with the rivet pins. Directions are good nuff.
