I bought two of these and the rack assembled easily, although the bag containing the nuts & bolts had come open on one, spilling them throughout the package. However, the cover tears so easily on any sharper bits of wood sticking out that is pathetic even by "Made in China" standards. A cheap tarp weighted down with bricks or something would probably work better. I recommend putting the cover on first, pulling it back, and then carefully stacking the wood. The bottom rails are close enough together that only extra short logs will fall through--it works fine for standard length split wood. The rack is stable enough even on ground that isn't perfectly level if you put scrap wood as shims under the legs that aren't touching the ground solidly.

I was pleasantly pleased with this product. We were able to assemble it in a few minutes and it looks very nice in our backyard. The only complaint I have is that the plastic cover did rip as it is a snug fit around the metal frame.

It works but the feet, all of them, do not touch the ground when assembled.
This leads me to believe it will have stress's on it causing it crack later and break. I'd give it maybe 5 years.
