This is a well made railing and I have nothing negative to say about the craftmanship. I think it might even be made in America, which is a great thing. However I think it is a little bit too expensive. If you had a moderately sized sidewalk or yard you wanted to fence, you could spend thousands. I think this product is best for someone who has a small area to cover, otherwise it would be too expensive. I did use it for a small area so it worked for me.

These are great railings. It gets expensive buying the brackets, posts, and post covers individually, but it really looks great when it is completed. Very sturdy and look like they will last forever.

The end product, if installed correctly, is excellent. A primary concern would be in its installation: skill and tools. You need both, especially a chop saw and impact driver/drill, depending upon which surface the railing is being installed. In my case, a second story application required four-foot segments (code) which means a lot of cutting. Also, be careful when ordering that the proper amount of posts, railings, couplings, post covers, etc., are ordered. Read descriptions carefully. For example, when ordering a railing, you DO NOT get necessary posts--just the balusters and rails. Also mentioned casually, for a nicely finished system, the post base covers are required. Pricey addition!

most impressed with the neat welding on the 4" posts. They are extra strong and the powdercoat paint job will hold up to 20yrs. of weather. These heavy duty aluminum rails are 10x the cost of wood, although will last at least 5x longer without the hastle of repairs and refinishing every couple of years. The parts are all precisely cut and install is on the medium scale of difficulity. Instructions are great and some of the best I've seen. There are on-line videos from the factory which warrant watching first to view parts, tools and layout before jumping into this project. Posts and other parts cost a big extra. It looks great and very neat when done. Rail kit can be used on porch stairs if you have the tools and advanced expertise to cut all the aluminum pickets at exact angles.

This is a good alternative to wood or vinyl. It is as sturdy as wood but does not require the maintenance of wood. This is just one section of a complete system. You will still need to get posts and caps. But focusing only on the railing, it is a good product. The system was easy to install. Took a little time to figure out the directions but once that happened it was a breeze. Two people would be recommended for assembly. Also have a good impact driver too.
