Customer Reviews

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 29 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by fexible This single wall corrugated drain pipe is more flexible than I was led to believe. It can easily be bent into a U shape of 6' across outside to outside of pipe. December 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent drainage system equipment Easy to handle and install. Limited connector options, tees, etc. but perfect for simple drainage solutions July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Corex drain (culvert) pipe After cutting the pipe to length, I realized that it was unsuitable for my project. The ditch I was crossing was shallow so that the pipe would have to be sunk into the ditch creating a hole or I would have had to build the road up on both sides with road base. Both were considered unsatisfactory so I went to plan B and built a low bridge out of pressure treated lumber which was then covered with road base. However.... that being said, the Corex pipe would have been perfect if the ditch had been deeper. It was particularly handy that I could order it on-line and have it delivered to the local Home Depot. I found that I could double it over on itself and transport it in the back of a pickup. It also (as I found out) cuts easily with a hand saw. October 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Simple Pipe Good quality product. Easy to work with. It's pipe May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by best super pipe in the world. A huge black pipe to handle all your irrigation needs. Be advised it doesn't flex very well since its so hard. But if you leave it in the sun it will soften up to make it easier to work with. March 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Many uses besides drain pipe. For example, passive solar heater for pool! Pros: very light easily cut (cut between the ribs with a box knife) not expensive! Cons: Tends to want to stay in a coil, straightening it out is a challenge ;-> If you are using it as drain pipe, it will hold water in the corrugation and breed mosquitoes. I am using this stuff in a non standard installation. I use it at the first of the season as a solar pool heater. I have a small auxillary Hayward pool pump. I lay this drain pipe out on the deck, and during daylight hours, I run water through it, back into the pool. The 100' will raise the temperature of the water flowing through it, about 1.5 degrees. The pump is model SP1580 - 87 gallons per minute at 10 feet of head. Since the pool sits on the pool deck, and there is an inflow pipe that goes 1' into the water (WITH AN ANTI-ENTRAPMENT piece of pvc attached), the outflow is 2' above the pump, where the drain pipe slides on. That gives me roughly (very roughly, I do know how to do math) 5k gallons per hour. My pool is 18k gallons. So in a day with 8 hours of direct sunlight, I can raise the temp of the pool approximately 4 degrees, not including the solar gain from the sunlight hitting the pool. Pretty cheap solar heater. Not a terribly useful review for gutter drain hose, but it is what I used it for. Doesn't leak, but can be torn by sharp objects, so be careful dragging it around, particularly if it is full of water. March 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good pipe The corex drain pipe is doing what it is suppose to do. It is letting water run thru it. It was installed by digging a trench then putting the corex drain pipe in it. September 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by drain I put in approx. 500' of this to help with less soil erosion last month- will have to wait & see how long it holds up January 5, 2016
