Good cloths, work well for the paint shop. Lots of rags in the bag, perfect size and not too heavy to lift.

I've used these on a few projects that called for wiping finishes including Teak Oil and Polyurethane Varnish. The downside to these rags is that the edges aren't sewn so small fragments of cotton will break off and deposit into your finish. The trick to using them is to scrunch them into a ball in a way that has all the cut edges on the inside of the ball or at least pulled together away from the finishing surface. When used this way so that you're only putting the interior of the cloth in contact with the finishing surface they work great and leave minimal lint. They're even better than the Home Depot wiping sponges.
I bought the smaller quantity but don't see it listed on the site for the review so I'm reviewing the 8 lbs. size.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Paedro Read the Label, these are not cotton rags.
I was not impressed with these for the price. The label says "new textile knit by products containing various blends of cotton, polyester, and rayon."
The vast majority of the bag I purchased was amazingly non-absorbent. They did not work well for clean up, they just pushed material around instead of absorbing it.
The one rag I attempted to use for oil based stain, started to fall apart with use.
I would not recommend these as painting rags. Not knowing what they are made from is a recipe for a failed finish job.
