Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Lousy Assembly Instructions First I tried to assemble looking at the exploded pic-no luck. I found the user guide on composting which made mention of assembly instructions on p. 19. I've assembled a lot of products. Found the instructions ambiguous. Would be better if package contained four sides and top, like another one I have. October 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by composter This was a great investment. I use the dirt from it in my garden which really helps my tomatoes and vegs grow strong and healthy each year. It does however, take two to three years to start yielding a large amounts of dirt. Also you need to make sure you and worms and have lots of sun on the composter for best results. April 14, 2009
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Great home for the neighbourhood mice Yes this makes compost but it does nothing to keep mice out. In the 6 years I have had this composter I have killed many many mice. I have also had to put the lid back on several times after racoons had dumped the lid on the ground. My next composter will be something much more pest proof. July 20, 2009
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by To make compost efficiently and fast With these upright bins, try 3 inches of grass clippings, an inch of horse manure, 3 inches of leaves, and the rest your non-meat kitchen left overs - stir occasionally. You'll get usable compost in less than two months. April 16, 2013
