Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ldannette good value and large capacity
After shopping around, this rain barrel was the clear winner both for price and capacity. The set up was simple and all the parts were included except for the downspout extender which was simple to obtain. The only issue is that spigot is plastic rather than metal and I would have preferred metal for durability. Overall an outstanding value and I recommended it to a family member who purchased one as well.

There are stronger barrels out there, but this one is plenty strong enough. There are prettier barrels available, but this one looks good enough. There are less expensive barrels around, but not much cheaper and very much smaller. There are no better value barrels I could find, either locally or on line. This barrel holds more than most and costs less than most. I had no problems with leaking on any fixtures and I have two of these inside my living space so leaking would be a lot more than inconvenient. The two barrels take care of all my domestic water needs and the rain fills them up. I had used the "free ship to store" option. These are great.

We ordered four of these rain barrels and love them. They are much larger than the barrels in the stores and utilizing recycled materials is a plus. Living in the desert of Southern New Mexico, we decided to take advantage of our monsoon season with these water collection and storage rain barrels.
The only thing negative is the poor quality of the faucets that come with the barrels. We knew about them from reading previous reviews and opted to upgrade when we installed the barrels. We are very pleased with the purchase and would buy them again.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Penguinschu Great Product. Almost Perfect.
I was excited to get this barrel before the big rain. Unfortunately, when I picked it up, the washers on the spigot were glued too far out on the threads. This meant there was not enough thread on the inside for the washer to catch. I had to leave town, so missed the big rain. On my return, I purchased a new spigot and associated parts and was able to fix the unit myself. Now it is great. Just waiting for the rain. And the little mesh screen on top had a hole in it. Aside from these small errors, I still feel it is a quality product.

We purchased this rain collector mainly to store the water we were collecting through our clean catch practices. (Catching the clean water that is usually allowed to go down the drain when heating water for showers. baths and dishes.)
This rain collector was easy to assemble, we did use plumber's tape to connect the spigot and have had no leaks. We were careful not to over tighten the connecting nut. It also has the best capacity for the price.

I bought four barrels and they are the best value for the money, 87 gallons big. Easy to assemble. The plastic faucet provided is not the easiest to install because the threads are too short, but this can be easily remedied with a PVC adapter from the plumbing dept. I painted my barrels a more desirable color. Oh, I also installed the overflow spigot backwards making it easy to attach a garden hose, with out additional expense.

The barrels look nice and the 87 gallon capacity is good, but
the drain valves are made of plastic and O-ring supplied with the valves do not keep the water from leaking out through the barrel wall. The valve comes with a nut that is supposed to hold the valve in place through the barrel drain hole, but the nut can barely grab a single thread on the valve.
I had to buy and install better valves.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LizR Nice solid rain barrel
I bought three of these to catch rainfall from the roof. They work very well. Nice, solid and substantial. My nephew installed them without trouble. Only problem: I wanted to attach 20-ft. hoses to the spigots so I could water the yard with them. Pressure was not sufficient. Had to take the hoses off and just use a bucket to empty the barrels.
