I use tray liners all the time. This LOOKS like it would be great and that all the excess paint would run into the base of the tray. Instead, the paint runs into the deep grooves and does not end up in the base of the tray. You cannot get to the paint and cannot use the paint unless you dig it out with a brush. The quality is good and it is made of a stronger material than most tray liners. But the paint is either wasted in the grooves or you still need a brush and the brush gets messy. Good price, but not worth using. Stick to the basic liner with little bumps or ridges. With the price of paint at $20.00 to $35.00 a can, you cannot afford to waste it.

I agree with the previous review; the paint does fill in the ridges of the V however I did not find this to cause a waste of paint. Yes occasionally I had to use a brush to get excess paint out if not all of it drained to the bottom. Although it did not ruin my brush and considering I need a brush for corners, ceilings, etc. it was not a big deal. I give 5 stars because it served its purpose, was economical, and has lasted through a living room & kitchen renovation.
