CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 24 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Product! I don't know what all the complaining is about. My handyman easily installed it. It appeared flimsy to us, but in fact it is holding up a heavy 12,000 BTU air conditioner in my second story bedroom window. It is not bending. It's far nicer looking than a plywood-and-2x4 homemade support and since it installs from the inside, it is compliant with my HOA regulations. If it breaks and dumps my air conditioner on the cement, I'll be sure and write a new review, but it seems to be quite sturdy. I'll admit that the size of it sort of takes my breath away. I would feel better about it as a consumer if it was bigger. June 26, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Works only for windows It only works for window openings. If you don't have a window just go buy some shelve angle October 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by A GREAT PRODUCT Just received. Nice and solid. High quality parts and supplied hardware. Product appears MORE than sturdy enough for the intended application. Just a quick glance at the instruction sheet and the few simple parts included virtually assemble themselves. This item is not intended to support the entire weight of an AC unit! - as most weight is borne by the window sill. This item merely supports the back and permits correct and permanent rearward tilt angle. Admittedly, I did not read all the instructions... But, if a person cannot figure out how to apply these few and simple parts just by view one assembly diagram, they really have NO business brushing their own teeth. Again, I rate this a solid "A" (Mind you I did pay about $30 for mine, but $40 seems reasonable.) October 10, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Total waste of money, do not buy this. This product is advertised as universal - it is NOT. This product will not work with a window that has a drip edge without leaving a one inch gap below the air conditioner unit. I bought this to use with a very large LG window unit, thinking (correctly) that the supplied brackets would be insufficient. It bent in half at the sill and collapsed, leaving me with three mounting holes drilled in my sill and no mount. Stay away and instead buy some wood while you are there at Home Depot. The wood brackets we all used to construct will hold up better and be safer. July 24, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worked out great! We purchased 2. They worked out great. No damage to window, or A/C units. September 23, 2014
