Customer Questions & Answers

What is the length of the whip from connector to connector when stretched straight?

This product is described as having a "4 ft. length." I need four feet of length from connector to connector when stretched straight, PLUS at least five inches of wires coming out of each end of the connectors to attach the wires to my air conditioner unit. Not including the wires coming out of the two connectors, what is the length of the whip from connector to connector when stretched straight?

What is the gauge of the wire inside?

Asked by: Brian
Hi Brian, I'm Travis from The Home Depot. Thanks for visiting our site. The American Wire Gauge (AWG) of this whip is 10 gauge. Ten gauge wire is capable of supplying 30 amps in most wiring configurations. Thank you for asking, -Travis
