Product Overview

Our innovative pedestal humidifier with stylish surface insert is sure to compliment any decor. Our humidifiers work by adding invisible moisture to your environment by moving dry air through a saturated wick. Maintaining proper humidity levels between 30-50% in your home/office/workplace has been scientifically proven to help prevent the flu and allergies. Proper humidity hydrates your skin, alleviates dry eyes, scratchy throats and can reduce snoring. With a doctor's approval increased humidity can reduce asthma and allergy symptoms. The "key" here is that for $169 (with remote), your getting a great humidifier that is a great buy for 2400 sq ft. I've read the previous reviews. This isn't a $400+ unit. We bought this for upstairs, where all the bedrooms are located and myself, my wife and kids sleep. Yes, it can be loud when "cranked" way up. (ours is located in the hallway) Yes, the humidity level readout on the unit display isn't perfect. (because it detects the humidity level right at the unit. Not down the hallway or bedrooms) But with some common sense and reading the humidity from the remote (or other source) you can make some adjustments and the unit works just fine. I've completed "a ton" of research and bottom line, if these couple little issues bother you, you're going to have to spend much more to accommodate your needs for 2400 sq ft. We love our AirCare Humidifier. Works great and easy to maintain and operate. Everyone is sleeping comfortably and no "dry mouth".

I have a very old non functioning whole house humidifier on my furnace and I really didn't want to mess with upgrading. This unit helps put the humidity where you need it in 1500 square foot house. We run it on the lowest fan setting in our living room.

The remote does not read the same as the unit. I called the manufacturer and they are sending me a new remote. Extremely disappointed on the noise humidity does not go 2400 ft.²

Doesn't stand out like a sore thumb in the living room. Tells us when to refill. It does the job. We like it very much. I don't know that a remote control is really that necessary, however.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sooooo Nice! I live in Nevada and the air here is dry here year round, it feels so wonderful to have moisture in the air!! This unit was very easy to set up and to use. I noticed a significant difference in the humidity in my home right away. I would like to see the design a little more fashionable but otherwise have no complaints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product easy to use It looks like a piece of furniture. The fan is very quite. I keep the fan on low and it does a great job. I love the remote, I can move the remote to other rooms to check the humidity it's great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Humidifier Easy to assemble. I have seen lots of complaints about the visibility of the water line inside the unit, but i have found it easy to read and use. If plugged in the internal light is bright enough. Humidifier works great, especially here in the south where we only need to use them during winter months to offset the dryness that forced air heating creates. Even on a medium fan speed it keeps the whole house (1,900 SQ Ft) at 45% humidity which is what we like. We only need to run it about 1/3 of the time so the water lasts a lot longer for us. Fan noise is minimal. You can hardly hear the fan until you get up to the highest speeds. BIG PLUS is the way the moisture is distributed. No condensation whatsoever on surrounding objects (tables, etc.) , and this is at 45% level. Only downside is the remote overrides the front panel, so when the remote is used the front panel display is just used to let you know you need to look at the remote for information. This causes you to keep the remote on at all times. I have only used for a month so i can't tell how this impacts the battery life in the remote.
