I live in Nevada and the air here is dry here year round, it feels so wonderful to have moisture in the air!! This unit was very easy to set up and to use. I noticed a significant difference in the humidity in my home right away. I would like to see the design a little more fashionable but otherwise have no complaints.

It looks like a piece of furniture. The fan is very quite. I keep the fan on low and it does a great job.
I love the remote, I can move the remote to other rooms to check the humidity it's great.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by jmol4644 Humidity Level Indictaor is a Joke and Forget About 2400 Sq. Ft.
Purchased this for a 3 room one floor condo unit that is 1200 sg. ft. that has a humidity level of 25% in the winter - I have my own humidity level indicator. Really liked the design of this unit and how it would look in our condo. I have no issues will how to fill it or maintain the unit
What I do have issues with are 1) the humidity level indicator on the unit and 2) how well it does increase the humidity. Here is an example:
My own humidity level gauge reads 25%. I turn on the humidifier with fan speed 4 and the unit shows humidity level of 38%. 30 seconds later the unit humidity level changes to 42% - how does that happen? I suspect that its because of where the humidity level gauge on the unit is located - on the power cord. I have the unit over 2 inches from the wall and is not obstructed on the sides (where the moist are outflow vents are located).
After running for 10 hours at fans speed 4, the unit humidity level reaches 53% while my personal humidity gauge reads 31% - so how can the unit humidity go up 11 points but my own gauge only go up 6 points? I keep my own humidity gauge 4 feet from the unit itself and away from the direct moist flow output from the fan.
10 hours at fan speed 4 uses up a little over a gallon of water. I'm guessing that if I ran at full fan speed 9 I could get the humidity level over 31% in 10 hours (but that would use up all the water in the unit), but with over a 20 point differential in the accuracy of the units humidity read, I would never reach 45% real humidity since the unit max setting is 65%.
Your humidity level will increase with this product, but don't expect the unit's gauge to be accurate or to reach desired humidity levels. At fan speed 4 the noise level is a nuisance but tolerable. Above that you will need to really up the volume on TV's and anything else that makes sound and forget about sleeping with it on.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Barbara Beautiful addition to our home
It was easy to assemble. It has light inside and an easy to read water level mark. Thanks for the improvements. The only problem is the filter. When wet it falls apart very easily. Also, if you have pets, be prepared to change filter more than once during the season. Aside from that, sound of fan is no worse than our last humidifier. I love the front panel and the easy to fill front door. Make sure you use the provided fill attachment. Don't forget the humidistat. I feel the remote is not necessary because It's not so easy to work. Very easy to set up at the unit. I thought it would have a real tile on top but it's only a plastic square colored to look like a tile. It's still a good place to display light weight things like a plant or pictures. Overall, this humidifier is everything we expected and is a beautiful addition to our house.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nesto Been working great for 2 months now
The unit has been keeping my 2000 sq ft house at 42% on fan level 4. Fan does get loud on higher settings but I haven't needed them.

Easy to assemble. I have seen lots of complaints about the visibility of the water line inside the unit, but i have found it easy to read and use. If plugged in the internal light is bright enough. Humidifier works great, especially here in the south where we only need to use them during winter months to offset the dryness that forced air heating creates. Even on a medium fan speed it keeps the whole house (1,900 SQ Ft) at 45% humidity which is what we like. We only need to run it about 1/3 of the time so the water lasts a lot longer for us.
Fan noise is minimal. You can hardly hear the fan until you get up to the highest speeds. BIG PLUS is the way the moisture is distributed. No condensation whatsoever on surrounding objects (tables, etc.) , and this is at 45% level.
Only downside is the remote overrides the front panel, so when the remote is used the front panel display is just used to let you know you need to look at the remote for information. This causes you to keep the remote on at all times. I have only used for a month so i can't tell how this impacts the battery life in the remote.
