Product Overview

AR Blue Clean power washers have 50-years of pump building experience through the Annovi Reverberi brand. The 383 is AR Blue Clean's original, best-selling power washer model. The 383 generates an incredible 1,900 PSI, up to 30 times more pressure as a typical garden hose while reducing water consumption by over 80%. For effective high-pressure cleaning, attach the variable spray lance. Change the HP spray pattern from a wide fan to a concentrated pencil-point HP spray by simply rotating the nozzle head or anywhere in between. For tougher jobs, attach the Turbo lance. The Turbo lance increases the effective cleaning power up to 50% by producing a pulsating, rotating HP spray. Detergent application is made easy with the separate detergent bottle that attaches directly to the spray gun. This power washer is much quieter, lighter and easier to use than a standard gasoline pressure washer and is certified by CSA International for safety. The AR Blue Clean 383-1,900 PSI electric power washer is perfect for medium-sized residential cleaning projects and will achieve superior results.

Answer:
Greetings fellow AZ resident! I'm an auto detailer and this unit is my go-to choice when I need to rid a vehicle's finish of caked on mud, excessive bugs, etc. As long as you keep the nozzle adjusted to a fan setting and keep a reasonable distance from the vehicle's surface, you will be fine. It has more than enough power to quickly remove mud from wheel wells, wheels, under-carriages, etc.

I want to use it for some more delicate work than cleaning decks so the PSI needs to be adjustable.

It depends on what you mean by "delicate." I used it to clear some gunk from the bottom of my car (wrapped the alternator and disconnected the battery, first), and avoided any wires, so, in that regard, it was more than adequate. I also used it on gutters and vinyl siding with no problem, but, it did break an already fragile and very old cedar shingle siding panel. All of these used the 25 degree spigot Read More

All of these used the 25 degree spigot (as opposed to the more pinpoint zero degree spigot or the wider "soap" spigot). Next time, please mention exactly what it is you want to use it on, but, in general, if it's more delicate than vinyl siding, I probably would not use any pressure washer. Read Less

Not necessarily less pressure but if you use the wand with the adjustable spray head, it spreads the spray pattern out, thus less force.

I just used this on my pavers and it seems to do a good job. The closer you have the nozzle to the paver, the better (and more narrow) the cleaning action. One thing I did note is that you need to be careful when spraying at the edge where an adjoining paver is connected. This thing will blast the sand out inbetween, which could introduce some shifting of the pavers to where they're not as level anymore. Read More

This thing will blast the sand out inbetween, which could introduce some shifting of the pavers to where they're not as level anymore. The further away you are from the paver blocks when you spray, you won't get the fast cleaning action but you're less susceptible to disturbing the sand underlayment. One possible trick I used is spraying at an angle towards the blocks, not straight down; this I think would help with minimizing disturbing the sand. You may have to add some sand once everything is bone dry to help strengthen the lock of the pavers. Read Less

That's a relative question. It really depends on how dirty they are and how long they've been dirty. If you have a large area or a long path you need cleaned, you would probably be better served using a stronger unit. This unit does not like to have its trigger pulled continuously for more than 2 minutes.
If the pump gets hot, the unit will shut down till it cools down - usually after using it

Answer:
Depends on the siding I think. I have aluminum siding and it seems to be OK, even up close with the nozzle. At 1900 PSI it seems to be enough power for an electric model. If you think it's too much power, back off with the closeness of the nozzle and you should be OK.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value for money Machine is light weight, easy to move around and pretty powerful. Some difficulty getting connections right so it doesn't leak. But overall better than most other devices in this price range that I have owned and used. September 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Performs well under pressure. :) For years I borrowed my brother in law's pressure washer and it did the job, but it didn't perform at it's best due to age. I decided to purchase one now that his unit broke down and went with this model based on a number of review sites. This unit performed better than I expected, especially for an electric power washer. It was able to reach areas out of reach of me with the other unit and did a very good job of it. I also used it to power wash some large pavers which have become dingy over time and it restored the color that was hidden. It was also a breeze to power wash the pool deck. It is more compact than the other unit as well, and I like you can reel up the water line. Only item which I was slightly disappointed with was the detergent spray unit; it does a good job of applying the detergent but only reaches so high. I would have to use a scaffolding ladder to reach the upper parts of my house with it. It would be nice if that had some spray power too. But other than that, I was more than impressed with the unit and am looking forward to more use of it next Spring in really getting the outside of the house looking sharp! October 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by glad I found it! It has good power for an electric unit. did our back porch, next will be the driveway. If you have really big jobs and need it more than once or twice a year, things will move faster with big gas power, but for the average user this will work, may take a little longer but I don't have to deal with gas/ethanol, fuel stabilizer, ETC. really it's pretty good, and the price was great! September 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great purchase It's very easy to put the hoses together and this does a very powerful job. Make sure you read the instructions first! March 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good product for the money Good product for the money. Gets the job done. I would recommend this product August 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great tool for the money compact-easy setup/store does great job on all cleaning projects August 9, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by flimsy parts returning after one use Bought this after reading some good reviews. Very disappointed!! Used it once worked fine but next use the cheap flimsy plastic parts broke! Now I have to return it.. After researching more found that many people have complained about the hose coupler easily breaking and yes you can order a metal one, but why should you have to. The company knows this part breaks easily but continues to use it. Why not just include a metal part, charge a couple more dollars, and save the customers the hassle!! Won't get another product from this company June 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nice portable spray washer with decent cleaning power good for all pressure washing jobs around home; not a wide cleaning path, but wide enough so that your driveway or walls will get clean in a reasonable time for the money spent, pressure is ok and you will not cut your toes or fingers off.
