Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Forbes Looks great on our front porch
Installation required removing the old porch ceiling light mounting and filling the hole with new plywood mounting surface. Simple enough because our electrician knew what would be needed, and showed up with the wood. Installation of this fixture after that was simple. I particularly like the threaded nut that holds the glass shade in place; very easy to get on and off to replace bulbs. We installed 60W LED bulbs for longevity. We are still working out the timer setting for how long the light stays on after detecting motion; we'll adjust that in warmer weather (Minnesota).

Installing this light on the porch and then sealing it with caulk took a good deal of effort. I was therefore completely dismayed when the motion sensor stopped working after only three days. The light itself could be manually overridden to turn on, but the motion-sensor function (the entire reason we bought the light) no longer worked. When it was functioning it was a great light. But I wouldn't recommend it because of its poor quality.
On a related note, I tried contacting the manufacturer about the issue when it occurred and never heard anything back. That seems indicative of their commitment to quality workmanship, or rather lack thereof.
