No and No. It is a Modem^Router. There is nothing in or on it which a remote control would operate.

Answer:
This is a wireless Modem^Router that works with service providers offering ADSL. It would not work with Cable. If your internet comes over your cable then you need a Cable Modem^Router, not this Actiontec ADSL Modem^Router.

Will not work with TW (cable internet). This is a DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) modem.

"So far so good" is my initial take on my new Actiontec Modem/Router from HomeDepot.com. This unit handles the ADSL signal coming to my home from AT&T. Didn't realize it was a single-band device (as opposed to a dual-band unit) but otherwise, the signal has been consistent and can receive it throughout my whole house. Right now, including cellphones, have had up to nine devices connected at once with it still working well. A year from now, if it is still performing as consistently, I'll raise my rating higher. My only complaint has nothing to do with the device. Rather, it is with the limited types of payment for it that Home Depot.com would accept.
