Plan the day with confidence with your own weather and weather prediction information – pinpoint accuracy right from your own backyard. The AcuRite Digital Weather Station uses patented Self-Calibrating Technology to provide your personal forecast of 12 to 24 hour weather conditions. Self-Calibrating Forecasting is generated from weather data measured by a sensor in your yard - giving you the most accurate forecast available for your exact location. The bold, easy to read LCD screen includes indoor / outdoor temperature and humidity, wind speed / chill, multi-variable history chart, heat index, self-setting clock / calendar and more. Scrolling Weather Ticker displays the weather forecast, moon phase, high / low records and more. Comfort level indicator easily conveys a low, high or ideal indoor humidity level. Atomic clock and calendar are radio-controlled to maintain the correct time and date with split-second precision, and automatically adjust for daylight saving time (DST). Display stands upright for tabletop use or is wall-mountable. The wireless outdoor sensor features 3 different technologies in one easy-to-mount unit: thermometer, hygrometer, wind speed anemometer. One-year limited warranty. It's more than accurate, it's AcuRite.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 33 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We are enjoying it! We especially like the wind speed feature on this. We live in an occasionally very windy area, so it is good to know the wind speed. The weather ticker is a little difficult to read, but a nice feature. You need to have an idea of where you are going to put the outdoor part of this. We rigged up a pole of PVC pipe & that is working out. March 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gift for my Brother. He is having fun with it. I purchased this for my father two years ago and he looks at it every day. Recently, he broke a part, called the manufacturer and they shipped him the part for free. You don't get this type of customer service any more. My father was so impressed that I Purchased one for my brother. He is enjoying it. Both brother and father said that it was easy to set up and that it gives accurate weather information. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better Then Weather Forecasters Reports Great comparison to weather forecaster's future made up reports. The Wind speed saved loosing garden décor along with the umbrella getting launched into neighbor’s yard. Future Forecasted rain a head of weather reports. Outdoor Humidity forecast, Heat Index and Wind Chill for outside was great to know for setting interior air temperature. Barometric Pressure reading warned of tornado ahead of weather forecasters warnings. Wireless uses 7 AA batteries. Only draw back face panel does not light up, would be nice to see forecasts in the dark. Considering this one missing enhancement still, highly recommend. June 3, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Does what I want I already had a 10' 4x4 post in the ground that I was using for something else prior so I installed it on the top of it thus installation was easy. I live in an area of Arizona that is windy frequently and I primarily wanted a station that measured wind speed and current temps, this unit does both plus a lot more so with just a quick glance I get everything I wanted. I've only had this for about a month so longevity is an unknown but so far so good. Only rated 4 stars due to the fact that I don't know how long it'll last but very pleased with it and would recommend. June 16, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good product Bought this 2 weeks ago. I question the wind speed is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars but as for the temperature, both inside and out, the barometric pressure, heat index, humidity and history portion I give it 2 thumbs up. The screen is easy to read during the day and doesn't light up at night so you have to look a little closer at night but that may be a good thing as the extra energy would just zap the life of the batteries that much quicker and I'm curious to see how long they last as it is. I did use the best batteries on the market. I live in a 4 seasons climate so will see how it performs once the snow and ice set in this winter. We get a lot of wind here and I did mount it on top of my pergola and I thought the screws provided were a little bit short so I did change them out to a longer screw for added stability and used 3 instead of the recommended 2. If the wind portion has issues in the winter I would buy another one minus the wind speed as the unit does provide more information than I get from my Wunderground app on my I phone. July 7, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Save your money The base station (Model #0615A1) unit goes through a set of batteries in only four days. We have burned through three sets of batteries with identical results. I have written the company but they have not responded. March 21, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy set up. Good value. I have owned other digital weather stations that require a Phd degree to set up. This was so easy to set up. I did not buy the $149 unit because it had a rain gauge and a PC link. Rain gauges ALWAYS end up getting dirty and crud builds up. If you needed a ladder to mount your unit, keep that ladder handy 'cause you will always need it to maintain your rain gauge. A rain gauge was not super important to me based on my previous experience with them. February 21, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Product Has great potential but has a serious mfg flaw! 9.75 in. H Digital Station with Weather Ticker is electronically sound but it's housing construction renders this particular product useless. I'll explain. There is only approximately 3 to 4 inches tops, if that, for mounting it to a round pole. In order to utilize all it's electronic sensory functions without serious risk of immediate damage it's mounting base SHOULD BE THREADED! I cannot stree this enough. The first strong wind or even manually mounting it will immediately rupture, fracture, and/or break the fragile "Plastic" molded housing. Not good at all for an outdoor weather monitor product.
