Answer:
No, you'll have to put a screw or nail in your wall. It isn't heavy so there are no worries of it falling. I used the Command fasteners but only has been on the wall a few days, take that with a grain of salt.

Rated 2.7 out of 5 by 24 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Profoundly Inaccurate Profoundly inaccurate. Temperature varies between 5 and 20 degrees high. Humidity is at least a fairly consistent 15% low. Not worth the $5. August 14, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by All had different readings I checked these out at my local HD and found that each recorded a different temperature -- some over 100 Deg. Shame on who made these thermometers, shame on the HD buyer of these thermometers. June 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT Thermometer for the price! My daughter needed multiple thermometers for her second grade Science project for the school Science Fair and we were able to locate these online. The price was inexpensive for this style of temperature gauge and worked very well at accurately giving us temperature differentials between different colors of boxes set in the sun. If it can do that it certainly can easily tell you the current temperature inside or out. April 4, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Checking for Accuracy To all the people on here saying their thermometer is way off, maybe you should have checked it before you put it in your cart. Just like you should check a level, see if the temperature reads the same as all the other thermometers and the feel of the room temperature. Mine works fine and is maintenance free. March 7, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Simple If you are looking for a highly accurate gauge then you must spend more money. People who purchase such an inexpensive item then get upset when it isn't perfect make me laugh. This is a handy little thermometer with humidity meter and it works just fine. I use it upstairs for an idea of the humidity in my 2600sqft home. I'm not a professional, just a homeowner saving money. I do recommend this product, unless you're in construction or have extreme medical issues, it gets the job done. January 30, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It's OK Purchased this thermometer to replace the one that went into the refrigerator because that one was smaller. While this one works compared to some of the other reviews the gauge was difficult to read. When looking at the temps, the Fahrenheit numbers and lines are too far from the tube making it difficult to read. Looking for something to give you an approximation this will do the job. Also, not convinced that the humidity gauge works. You get what you pay for and nothing more. December 29, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Way off Like, 10° off sometimes. Humidity accuracy is even worse. December 14, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Humidity gauge is way off. The temperature gauge seems to be fine, but my humidity gauge read 50% humidity outside, when it was actually supposed to show around 30% humidity in my area, according to weather websites. I took out the stock humidity gauge and put it in another, more accurate one there. The small kind with the velcro back. It gets 2 stars for having a working temperature gauge, and a place to put an aftermarket humidity gauge (you can get these for $5-$15). It's too bad your only current options through home depot are a cheap gauge that doesn't work, or expensive digital ones. December 11, 2010
