If I bought three of this product and placed them all within the same home inside and outside, would their signals not interfere with each other? Would I get accurate readings? I would expect a no answer to mean they would or could interfere with each other and will not get accurate readings. I would expect a yes answer to mean they would not interfere with each other and will get accurate readings.

Yes; I bought two units and they don't interfere, they must be on different frequencies... However, there must be a limited number of frequencies so if any of your units have the same frequency they might interfere with each other, I suppose.

Using only one outdoor sensor with three indoor receiver/display will work. All three out-door temperature readings are the same. That is what I have now. I do not know what happens if you put all three sensors outdoors.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 245 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Unit hasn't lasted 1+ years. Outdoor sensor has stopped working properly. We do have temperature extremes with teens in winter & 100+ in summer but unit has always been sheltered from direct sun and the elements. Won't buy this brand again. August 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Know the temperature Reliable and accurate thermometer for anyone looking to be informed August 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works as expected! Perfect, hung the outdoor one on the north side of the house under the eve. I had them side by side for a day inside, and they were only 1 degree apart, and I thought that was pretty good. August 1, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Piece of Junk I have been through 4 of these, and now quit. It has the exact features I want, but the outside sending unit is totally unreliable. It only lasts a few months, and then either shorts out or ants get inside it and make a nest or it starts sending crazy readings--current temp at my house is 125 degrees. I hang it in the shade, north side of a tree, under a birdhouse to give it protection from the rain, and it quits working every time. Will not buy any Accurite product with this white size-of-a-Snickers-bar sending unit. The store has been good about taking back 2 of them with the receipt, but constantly replacing it isn't worth the hassle. May 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So far, so good Nice thermometer and humidity display. Have it hanging outside on a tree and still works with a heavy downpour. Good product. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by temperature gauge easy to program...seems to be very accurate....saves yesterdays highs and lows.... July 5, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not great I bought this for the small size. The remote sensor has very poor range so I have to place it two feet away for it to work. The display is fine and the size is the best thing going for it. I would recommend looking for another brand if you need distance from the receiver and sensor. June 21, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Totally worthless product do not buy any acu-rite product. I have purchased three of these acu-rite indoor outdoor thermometers in the last two years. They work fine for a couple of months and then quit sending signals, Home Depot should take this product off their shelves. Insider temp is not much better. Changing batteries does not work. Totally worthless. June 12, 2016
