Answer:
If the lamp will carry a 100 watt incandescent, then it should be able to handle ANY LED bulb, even the larger 23 or 24 watt (which are 100 watt equivalents).

Answer:
This lamp cannot use a 3 way bulb - because it has an On/Off rotary switch., and calls for 1 - 100 watt max incandescent bulb. It cannot be modified with a dimmer.

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 177 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good lighting the pole is quite tall and you really have to reach to turn it on/off. I'm 5'5" and I have to stand on my toes to reach the switch. An easy solution is to plug it into an outlet that is connected to a light switch with the capability to turn the light on/off. The floor lamp really lights up the room and you can direct the lighting to wherever. I am happy with this lamp. September 6, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by No problems Assembled and briefly tested and worked as advertised. Need to give normal use before knowing durability. August 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good lamp, certainly worth the price. The shade (which appears to be frosted glass) is actually lightweight plastic. Great for the price though. March 22, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good product at this price point. Wanting accent lighting at a reduced price I purchased 2 of these floor lamps. I appreciated the nice brushed nickel finish as being bright and clean appearing and yet remaining understated. The plastic shade may prove to be the real draw back, as other such material lamp products have tended to yellow / discolor over time. I'm hoping that by using a CFL their reduced heat may prolong the shade's life. Good value for the price, easy to assemble and a very nice accent light that fit right in with our home's decor. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product! I bought this item when it went on sale and this is a great lamp! It was easy to install and I thought it was shorter than it actually looked but it's at a nice height. Immediately lights up my entire room and I love how adjustable it is. The silver finish adds a nice touch of class and the plastic shade isn't super thin where it breaks easily. So far, I am getting much use out of this lamp and would love to buy another one or two in the future. July 9, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I Love Lamp This lamp is great if you're in need of lighting on a budget. I was a little disappointed that the white shade part is made out of plastic, but for the price I paid I can't complain. The swiveling head of the lamp is a nice feature for minor adjustments to the angle of the lighting. Overall I'm very pleased with it. July 9, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it- looks very nice ! Looks very good, you can use it almost anywhere ! We use it with an energy saving bulb behind a chair so the light does not reflect into the tv when we are watching it, works perfect for this because it is nice and tall !! Great item and would reccomend it to a friend or anyone :) October 30, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good buy if on sale Great quality and easy to install. Bought two silver ones when they had it on special buy of today sale for $18 including a discount code. But I would not buy if regular price of $38 cause they are better standing lamp for less. October 23, 2013
