Answer:
No, at least not in the zero-turn mode. If the turns are kept even the slightest bit "gradual" it should be fine.
It will work fine with something that has the turning radius of the average garden tractor, or similar.

Answer:
Moose, thank you for your interest in the Agri-Fab Drop Spreader. The drop spreader will attach to any lawn and garden tractor with a rear hitch. The important thing to note when using tow behind products with a zero turn mower is to go slow around 3 mph or less and avoid quick turns or you will jack knife the product.

Answer:
I would think if he manure is dry it would work. I would suggest that before you put the manure in the hopper that you first put it a cloth or plastic bag and shake it enough so that it is not lumpy and them put it in the hopper..

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in Agri-Fab products. At this time Agri-Fab does not make any manure spreader products. The drop spreader is best for grass seed, pellatized fertilizer and ice melt.

Answer:
If asking about powdered (pulverized) lime, yes I used it for this, and it worked well. But I made sure to try it only on dry days, with dry lime. And the maximum rate I got was 1/2 ton per acre (50 lbs per 2000 sq. ft.)

Answer:
Powdered/Agriculteral lime does not flow well and tends to pack down. You can use it in residential spreaders but the powdered lime can arc and stop flowing and the blades can not reach the lime to keep it agitated. You can stick something through the lime arc and then resume spreading. All lawn spreaders work best with pellitized lime.

The instructions for assembly were easy to follow and all the hardware was included. For once there were no missing nuts & bolts! After using it for the first time the flow adjustment appeared to be relatively accurate. The only slight drawback I noticed was there was a small amount of material (fertilizer) left in the very bottom of the hopper that would not dispense. I simply tilted the spreader to one side and was able to dump the small amount of fertilizer into a bucket for use in my next application. I hosed out the hopper and oiled the moving parts as per the instructions. If the maintenance instructions are followed this spreader should last a lifetime and I am very pleased with the overall construction and performance of this product. If you have a large lawn I would recommend this spreader to do the job!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice pioece of equipment Some assembly required, but all the parts were there and the directions were clear enough to follow so it went together pretty smoothly. As a single-use piece of equipment it really doesn't have a lot of features, but it was fairly easy to control the rate of flow on a couple bags of "weed and feed." Covered about 1/3rd an acre of uneven ground without minimum fuss and clean-up was painless.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Drop Spreader, but!!!! This is a great drop spreader, but it won't hold 175 lbs., of product, and the release gear closes on it's own, but after it was secured with a bungee cord, it worked perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Made Drop Spreader The Agri-Fab tow behind drop spreader is very sturdy and well made. It was very easy to assemble and took only about 30 minutes to do so. Adjusting the flow rate control was very easy to calibrate. Finished inflating the tires and gave it the first run when I spread pelletized lime over my lawn. I have since over seeded my lawn with my new drop spreader as well. It did a great job, just as I had expected. I have other Agri-Fab products that are at least 18 years old and still in great operating condition. So, I'm a firm believer in the Agri-Fab product line.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice looking unit with one small problem Putting the unit together I found that the assembly people put the rivet holding the wheel plates on each side in the wrong location. I had to drill them out to assemble the bracing bars properly. I filled the then open hole with a bolt nut and washer. I have not used the unit as of this writing, but it looks like a very well built unit and should do the job very well. Note using the unit yet is the reason ease of use and value are rated good and not excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from $300.00 This spreader really does the job. I purchased it to spread pulverized lime on my lawn. Only a drop spreader can do this as it packs up in the other type spreaders and will not spread. This spreader is well made. It took about 2 hours to assemble. It is big and wide so you have to be careful in close quarters when towing it. I purchased it on line from home Depot and picked it up at the store. It is a lot of spreader for the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Polypro drop spreader Thus would have been a 5 star purchase except for the fact that the polymer hopper was assembled partially backwards. the middle bracket inside the hopper was riveted on the wrong side. The center brace that attaches to the tongue could not be fastened until the fasteners were removed and new fasteners installed on the opposite side. This took about 30 minutes and some new fasteners. (I live a long way from the nearest Home depot).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good drop spreader Easy to assemble. Make sure you follow instructions to the "T" and adjust flow gate accordingly. I question longevity of the metal agitator against rusting from fertilizer even with washing out hopper after each use. You have to even out amount of material on each side of center hopper brace. I still think agrifab has a good product.
