Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good vac cheap design I purchased the 'Mow-N-vac' in spring 2014 and had to stop to remove clog from chute many times during each mowing of 1 and a half acres. Turned idle screw in all the way and now it only clogs if I get into really thick tall weeds. After 5 mowings I had to replace a wheel ($60) two weeks later the other wheel. At this point I removed the Mow-n-vac to finish the season. Now in 2015 I hooked up the Mow-n-vac and found the first wheel I replaced, SHOT. Went to an equipment supply store and found wheel/tire replacement with bearings (not bushings like the originals) that caries 300 lbs each (stock #3552527). This is a 16X5.5 - 8 for 1 inch axle and gives additional height to allow the dump bed to tilt more for easier cleaning. All in all the design is good, The chute attachment that mounts to the mower deck could be better and some kind of seal around the vac intake cover plate, however after a few mowings enough grass fills the leaks and it works better. Last, the catch on the bottom of the dump bed flexes so you may have trouble latching down the dump bed when you empty it. June 7, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Needs beefing up! I recently bought my 2nd mow-n-vac. My first one lasted over 14 years and was great. The new one has a better fan with better suction;however I am very disappointed in the cart. It is much flimsier than the old one. The back door blew off 3 times with the cart being only half full. The metal is much thinner than the old one and deforms under load. The screen on top is not secured as well as the old one and leaves get around it. I have to run the engine at half speed and drive slow to get a full load. November 21, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really works Great! I have 2 acres with Oak, Pine and Magnolia trees. I have been using the lawnmower to throw the leaves and needles into a pile and then raking them into my tractor bucket to take to my compost pile. Last fall there were 3 piles of them that I didn't get around to picking up. They were wet and compacted. Using my new Mow-N-Vac (delivered 7-9-14) and my Zero-Turn Mower I ran over the piles and picked them, I also used the Hand Held Hose in areas that I could not easily drive. The machine really picks up well and between the tractor mulching and the blower I have fine ground mulch! If I were to change anything I would add a bracket for the hose when transporting and maybe a rack for a rake. The mulch packs so fine that you need to help it dump with a rake. I'm very happy with the Vac! July 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mow-N-Vac Model No.501885 Machine was purchased in 2001 by myself and my brother in law to mow and vacuum our two lawns of approx. 2.5 acres. Machine was used mainly in the fall to gather fallen leaves for mulch for garden use. August 22, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by mediocre at best The concept and materials seem good for this agri-vac, the problem is it seems very little thought went into the design. The way the motor and vac is mounted is flimsy, needs gussets supports welded in etc. The axle is about an inch too long requires washers to prevent excess slop in wheels. The material that surrounds the vac dump to the box has already worn out after two uses. Lastly this thing is heavy and needs to be equipped with a tounge jack, I have to use my floor jack to move the thing around my garage and get it lined up with the mower. So far I am not impressed with this product, could be much better with a few little tweaks. September 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works Great!!! I have owned my chip n vac for over 10 years and it has been a great machine. I have only done normal maint. on it in this time and i have given it a work out. I live in south east Ga. and we have very sandy soil I have only replaced my impeller once in ten years. Great product!!! April 16, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Fell Apart!!! I bought the mow-n-vac in the spring of 2013, it completely fell apart in on 05 April 2014. All of the fasteners that hold the hopper to the axle rusted and the hopper fell off the first time I used it in 2014!! Very poor workmanship!!! April 5, 2014
