Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by John Emigh Very disappointed
As a business owner of a 63 acre campground I thought I was buying a quality leave vacume. Come to find out I bought a tinny, plastic cheap quality made suspension that flexes so much that it dumps itself and smashed the plastic door right off the back. It's pretty sad when a business man spends a lot of money for a so called quality product and it turns out that it's not and I have to refurbish it so that it will work.

I recently purchased a mower vac and really like how well the motor starts and how perfectly the impeller works to vacuum and shred the leaves. I had some difficulty with the back door moving a bit allowing "leakage" and found that the air flow was just too strong from the powerful motor/impeller so I experimented with running the motor at less than top speed. This solved the problem and the leaves are still shredded perfectly. I'm very satisfied with the unit and it is saving me a ton of time and work!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by brians Would be great except back door does not stay on
This is my second unit - first one lasted 15 years - this one is not made as well, but would do the job except the back door keeps coming off when the cart is about 25% full. I've tried bungee cording it, but that doesn't help much. Does anyone have any solution to this? Does agri-fab have any retrofit they can provide us? I have seen others have the same issue. Honestly, if I have to empty it when it is only 25% full, it is not saving me all that much time. Very disappointed. Although I had a similar issue with my older unit, bungee cording it solved the issue, but not so on this unit. I believe that to be the fact that the old unit, had vents all along the top of the sides as well as the back - this one, the air only vents out of the back and I think the force of all that air is just too much. I am thinking of drilling some holes in the sides, near the top, of the carts to try to vent more air out - I am thinking that may solve the issue - anyone have any thoughts?

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Joshua Good Quality Works great. improved over old models
I recently purchased this (Sept 2016, assembled at store & have used it for 15 hrs)
Recommended for decks up to 54", but I have it hooked up to my Cub Cadet 60" Zero turn. the deck adapter fits easily & appears large enough to fit onto my friends 72" Deere zero turn. (there is additional hose extension attachment required for zero turn mowers. (see more about the hose extension below)
a co worker has an older model & many of the things he & other reviewers were complaining about seems to be fixed on my new model. the back door for example has 2 pin & clevis, not a bungee cord as older models do.
I have 1 acre of oaks & this handles the massive layer leaves when I slow down a bit & it picks up the long white pine needles when i drive very slow (i have gotten used to going full speed on my zero turn, so slowing down a bit is still probably the normal speed on a regular mower)
The weak link of the unit seems to be the 6" Dia hose, if you have a zero turn mower or a larger than 54" deck you may want to look into purchasing a 8" Dia hose. the machine & deck adapter are designed for either 6" or 8" hose attachment & if you need to buy a hose extension kit for a zero turn, why not use that money towards buying a 8" hose (i am looking into buying a 8" hose for mine)

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disgusted Low quality
I just purchased this item and, after looking at the instructions, have deduced the people that write the assembly manual don't have a clue what you are trying to assemble. Poor quality stamped parts, obviously by someone who doesn't care about quality. After writing this review, I am loading this scrap metal up in the trailer and taking it back to place of purchase.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TheWiz01 Excellent Vacuum
I bought on 10 years ago and used it regularly. On the first the only complaints were:
No way of telling when the unit was getting full. Had to rely on the engine noise of the mow and vac to know it was full.
Second was unloading. When it is FULL it is really FULL! Trying to unload was a manual chore.
Last was the attachment to the mower deck. Seemed that grass would accumulate and then clog the tube to the vac when grass had moisture. Then has to stop an clear the clog. Got old real fast.
Bought the second one and everything was the same again. Worked with a welder and came up with a better discharge solution. Now it never clogs. Currently bought a Husqvarna with a 54inch mower. This mower can chew some grass and with the new fitting I am able to run mower full speed and the vacuum does it job and the system doesn't clog.
As for telling when it is full. The mower speed slows down. Time to unload.
Has anyone found a way to unload the trailer quickly. That is the next project to work on. Currently mow 6+acres. Record is filled 17 Ag-Fabs in a day.
Unloading currently is pitchfork and hands. Great exercise but really sucks.
If anyone has any ideas shoot me an email.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JR Agra-Fab lawn vac
I really like the Agra Fab lawn vac and would highly recommend it for homes with a lot of trees. It came with very little assembly and the instructions were easy to read. There was a template for the hole opening in my deck and the chute fit like a glove. The only drawbacks are the rear door is not sturdy enough and blows off when the hopper is half full. I fixed this problem with the addition of three bungee cords. Two 21" crisscrossed from the bottom door supports too the strap bolt on the side, and one straight across the back. Also the boot that fits on the chute is hard to attach. There needs to be more room at the bottom of the chute. A clear Plexiglas window in the top of the hopper would be handy to tell when the hopper is full.
