Do you sell mow & vac for a62 inch deck? can you use this model w attachments for a 62"?

Asked by: Anonymous
You may need a longer hose attachment , my experience has been with 42 and 50 cub cadet decks and they work okay. Chute should fit most MTD products. Zero turn mowers might be a problem

I have a 46" Zero turn mower with a discharge chute at about a 45 degree angle, do I need aspecial chute? Is this what the 65640 kit is for?

Asked by: JR
Dear JR - Thank you for your question about the Agri-Fab Mow-N-Vac system. You are correct the hose extension kit is designed to give larger decks and zero turn mowers the additional hose needed to operate the Mow-N-Vac. Please note we do not have a template for zero turn mower decks, you will have to trace the opening of your mower onto a cardboard box to create a template. The Agri-Fab customer care team is available to discuss assembly and installation questions Monday - Friday between 7 am and 5 pm CST at 800-448-9282.

will it adapt to ariens 46'' riding tracter mower?

does adapter kit come with unit? also wil it adapt to 46'' arians mower
Asked by: bobt
Dear Bob - Thank you for your interest in an Agri-Fab Mow-N-Vac for your lawn care needs. Yes, the Mow- N-Vac will fit up to an Ariens tractor as long as it is a right side discharge with a belly mounted mower deck. We do not have templates for Ariens tractors, but they are manufactured by Husqvarna so you may be able to adapt a Husqvarna template. In any case you can always trace the opening of your mower deck onto a box to create your own template. The Agri-Fab customer care team is available Monday - Friday between 7 am to 5 pm CST at 800-448-9282 to assist with any questions.

Mow-N-Vac is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 63.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the vac, but room for improvement I purchased the mow and vac in 2015. At first it was more trouble than its worth. But after a few modifications, I am very pleased. Problems at first included the tilt mechanism not holding. This could be fixed with a pin system like a tilt trailer I own. The most disappointing was the back panel kept coming off. The brackets on the bottom are just not deep enough. I compensated by putting a bungy cord around the bottom. But that still didn't hold all the time. So I drilled two holes at the top of the pannel and through the trailer. Then put two 2" screws from the inside of the trailer and put lock nuts on them. Then put the panel thru the screws. When you engage the locking levers at the top, it prevents the panel from dropping down. I use the bungy cord as a backup. Now, I don't have any problems with the rear panel. Seems the company could make this a feature from the factory. The bungy cord could be eliminated if the brackets holding the bottom of the panel were deeper.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but old technology Hose diameter is too small 6". Clogs very easily. Most current designs use a 10" diameter. Engine is good. Starts easily. Dump cart is kind of cheap. Very hard to replace chute boot as it revited in place with huge rivits and this part wears out in about 4 years.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Like and dislike at same time Works great but disappointed in the quality of the chute to trailer boot and the hose to engine connection. I used it, brand new, for two hours and there is already a hole in the boot that connects the chute to the trailer. I centered the chute as indicated in the instructions. There has to be a better material to make their boot out of. I would rather pay more and have it last. Now after two hours I have to figure out how to patch the boot or replace it. As for the connection of the hose to the engine, in the two hours I had to reattach it at least 10 times. Tried to make real wide turns, helped some but the design/engineering on this is poor at best. Engine starts first time and vacuum is great, just some design issues.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good machine. We purchased this because we have 1 acre lot with an abundace of trees on it. This product works very well and made life much easier for cleaning up. It mulches everything very nicely, starts very easy and is very easy to dump. My only complaint is the piece of chanel that is used for the engine to mount on and used for connecting to your lawn tractor is very flimsy allowing the engine to lean over causing the chute into the catcher to be partially blocked. I had to put a strong bungee cord around the chute and attach it to the front edge of the collection box.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Powerful Vacuum I bought this vac a year ago in September 2015. It has done a great job cleaning up leaves and grass clippings. Also, bought the remote hose kit, which is the best way to vacuum up deep piles of leaves and get under trees with low hanging limbs. I had trouble with the rear door coming out of the door support brackets when the cart was about half full. Overcame this by putting two 1" ratchet straps around the cart, one at the lower edge of the door a couple inches above the support brackets and the other about two thirds of the way up the door. Now the door stays in place and I can get the cart completely full. The tongue is very heavy even when the cart is empty. The axle should have been placed further forward closer to the center of gravity.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Back Door Solution I recently purchased a mower vac and really like how well the motor starts and how perfectly the impeller works to vacuum and shred the leaves. I had some difficulty with the back door moving a bit allowing "leakage" and found that the air flow was just too strong from the powerful motor/impeller so I experimented with running the motor at less than top speed. This solved the problem and the leaves are still shredded perfectly. I'm very satisfied with the unit and it is saving me a ton of time and work!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tongue heavy Just started this Mow and Vac and haven't used it yet. I'm 68 years old and I would suspect that even younger people will have this problem. It is terribly tongue heavy. It's all I can do to pick the tongue up so move it around in the garage. It should have some kind of fold down roller to keep the tongue off the ground and to move it around. It seems to have good suction. More later

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mow-N-Vac has great suction but I bought this mow and vac about a month ago and I am pleased with the great suction the vac has and the trailer has holds a lot off grass and leaves.. The things I am disappointed in is how loud the motor is and the terrible dumping system. I think higher tires might help but this way you have to manually pull all the clippings out
