With this model, does there tend to be condensation or wetness left on the floor or carpet or nearby objects from the unit being in use?

I have had this problem with other humidifiers in the past & so have avoided buying a new one despite desperately needing one to combat dry air.

Answer:
Answer is definitely no. My experience using this on maximum output has caused any condensation buildup in my room. Your conditions may differ. The humidifiers output is adjustable, so if you do experience any condensation problems you can fix it.

Answer:
No. Just keep it away from windows / outside walls. Even after running mine for 24 hours, there was no moisture or condensate anywhere around the unit. The mist that comes out is more like a fog or steam. It dissipates quickly.

Yes, when I turned the unit all the way to the highest level then next morning when I woke up there was condensation on the floor around the humidifier. When I turn it on a lower level about halfway I don't notice any condensation.

Answer:
YES! It leaves wetness on the product itself and on the floor, even on the highest setting. I had to put towels down to not ruin my hardwood floors. My husband put it up on a stool and that helped some as well but I still have towels out. They do not become as wet, but are still damp. Having a fan on helps as well.

Answer:
I have not noticed any, but we do operate it most of the time with the ceiling fan to help disperse the mist. When the fan is off, we keep the motor on high which tends to put the mist high enough in the air that it dissipates without condensing on the floor.

In order to avoid this from happening we recommend that you test the different settings on your unit starting with the lowest, keep the unit away from any air currents, for example doors, windows or air vents, that may be forcing the mist to go down instead for spreading through the room. And always point your mist nozzle towards the center of the room, away from walls, furniture or electronic equipment.

I've been running this humidifier for a couple of weeks now and am very happy with it. It is very quiet, and doesn't take up much horizontal space on my nightstand. I appreciate the ability to rotate the mist jet in different directions. The water tank will last for several nights, depending on how high you turn the dial. The only real drawback to this unit is that its height means it won't fit under most bathroom sink faucets, so I need to bring it downstairs to the kitchen to refill, but since a tank lasts a while, that's not a big deal. I'm using it in a roughly 14x16 foot room and keeping the dial at the 3:00 position provides plenty of moisture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Impressed I live in a very dry dorm room so I went with a medium room size instead of s small. However, I fill it every other day running it on medium and it has made it so much better in my room. My fish tank isn't evaporating water anymore and I haven't gotten another bloody nose since using. Also my skin isn't dry anymore. I highly recommend this humidifier and it is very quietrue. It has a built in water treatment pearl canister so you don't have to worry about filtering the water before hand or having any harsh chemicals or minerals in the air and clogging up the humidifier.

I must have bought a lemon because after following the very simple directions I could not get the vapor to go up, it just billowed out the top and down, down, down. I see all the photos of the reviewers with a nice, strong mist shooting up into the air. This did not happen for me, even after double and triple checking that I was doing it correctly. It was very quiet, and it looked really cool, but it did nothing to help the dry air in my room, although the towel it was sitting on was wet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too Finicky The humidifier does not mist well and ends up making the nearby surface wet instead of dispersing the mist well into the air. Does last long and relatively easy to fill and it's nice to have a ceramic, easy-to-clean filter. Still, you can do better for the money.

Design is very nice, mist flow and being able to direct the flow of mist is fantastic Big plus is not having to fill it each night. It is one of the better small humidifiers we have purchase. Purchasing a second one for the family room before they are gone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great humidifier Quietest humidifier I've ever owned, no mess, no fuss. Only issue is the amount of water it goes through, but that's not a big problem. Either buy distilled water (about a buck a gallon) or make your own.
