Purchased this humidifier last night for my 130 sq. Ft. Bedroom. It's been running on high for just about 12 hours now. The room does not feel more humid one bit and the digital display has not changed from 31AH. The beeping is way too loud and there really should be a handle to help place the full tank of water back onto the base unit. Not sure how this product made it the market.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by ErnF Too Much White Dust
This one is going back, and it hasn't even been 24 hours since I bought it. There is already a noticeable layer of white dust on and around the humidifier. I followed the directions in which they recommend using the softest water possible to avoid excessive dust build-up, but this is still too much for me. I can only imagine the amount of dust after a week, let alone one night. The picture I uploaded shows the unit with sections of white dust on it after only one night of use on the medium setting.
Additionally, the humidistat setting may be dysfunctional. It's had the same reading since I first plugged it in. I was planning on contacting the company about this since there is no troubleshooting info regarding the humidistat (I read the entire manual and found nothing) but after the dust issue I'm not even going to bother. Also, it ran for 12 hours on medium before it ran out of water. I expected a little longer of a run time.
The only plus is that it's very, very quiet; almost non-existent sound. I suppose if you want a quiet unit, don't mind cleaning up the dust, and don't plan on using the humidistat then this may be worth it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by EBecker It works great - if you use it correctly!
The humidistat sensor is on the BOTTOM of the appliance. If you set it on a carpeted floor or a towel - it will not read correctly. You will be stuck at ~30%. It's meant to sit on a FLAT surface. (the instruction booklet does not specifically say this, but the website does). I was worried about my furniture, so I set it on an old cutting board - and it works great! I was up to 50% humidity (the level I chose) in just a few hours. On high, I had moisture on the floor and nearby furniture, but on medium it was perfect.
Other than not having a handle to help you lower a full chamber into the hub, I have no complaints. I didn't have a problem with this, but I can see how people with arthritic hands might.
Also, it's SUPER quiet. You can barely hear it kick on or off. And my winter-air sore throat and nasal passages are so much better today (day 2)!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by ihatejunk Terrible design - Nothing innovative about this.
Unit is supposed to work in room up to 400 SQ. FT. I have it in a room that is 225 sq. ft.
Humidistat does not sense humidity unless I run it at it's highest setting. room. Sensor for humidity is on the bottom underneath of the unit.
To be clear it's not that the unit does not raise the humidity; it does at lower than max setting. The problem is the unit can't sense it and runs forever eventually OVER HUMIDIFYING the room. I spoke with customer service and was told they are aware of the sensor issue, have had lots of complaints and engineers are working on relocating it. Duh, lets hope so!
Tank has no handle on the top to hold on to when lowering the tank into the base making awkward at best when refilling.
I would expect much better design/performance from a company with "Innovations" as part of their name. Instead I am extremely disappointed and returning this.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JackO I like it!
The humidifier I owned before this was a big brand that everyone knows. It worked well for me until I woke up one morning to a soaked patch of carpet underneath it. After an entire day of looking for a new one I came across this little guy at home depot. The box didn't say If it was warm or cool mist but I decided I would get it regardless. It's a neat little machine. The mist does appear to just fall to the ground but I like it. I can feel the difference. The white dust doesn't bother me so much because we own a very expensive top of the line cool mist humidifier and it does the same. It's a little hard to put back in after filling because there isn't a handle or anywhere to grip. The humidity sensor goes between 35 and 45 like mad but I'm not concerned about it too much. For a single room it's perfect unless you are extremely picky. The best part is that it has yet to leak! That's all I care about.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Useless for large room and has major design problems
It is extremely awkward to fill unless it's on a low table, and then it is almost impossible to read the controls. Surely there must be a way to have at least one handle on the tank. The mist directional control is unattached and just falls out when the tank is removed to be filled. Admittedly our den is a large room, but it made absolutely no difference in the humidity level. It's going back today.
