Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by worked for 2 months then the motor got disaligned First the humidity sensor used by airking is not working well. I placed a digital thermometer with humidity sensing and it never started at the humidity set point, and sometimes it never stopped. Airking was contacted, they suggested the sensor may be bad so they sent a replacement. It worked better than the first sensor but still unreliable I had to turn the humidity sensor way up so that it can be stopped at 65% humidity, but when I was showering it did not start at 65%RH it started at around 70%. So the trick I used was to turn it on manually and then after finish showering turn it to automatic so that the forced air let the sensor take humidity and automatic switch on. The second problem I had is that some day that it did not stopped most of the day, it started to make a grinding sound, it looks like the vent start getting out of alignment and rubbing. I am going to return it to store thanks to Homedepot return policy, and purchase a different brand. March 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The 2nd One Works Perfectly! The first fan I received was faulty. It made a loud clacking sound and a whistling noise. The friend who installed it said the fan was hitting the "squirrel cage", and so causing the noise. I left the first fan in while reordering another, so that I still had a fan and not a large hole in my ceiling. The second fan arrived, but the box was dented in a few places, as though it was dropped or something dropped on it. When I opened the box, the fan seemed fine but the grill cover was scratched up a bit. The second fan worked fine, I exchanged the scratched cover on it with the first fan's cover, and the replacement fan has worked as I had hoped for the last month +. Pros: Very quiet; I can barely hear it come on. It does the job of sensing when the room is too humid, and it turns on and off by itself. I haven't seen any black mold forming in my bathroom, which was a major problem in the past. It's energy efficient. I received a discount off the original price when I had to reorder another fan. Cons: Lack of care in shipping. Having to reorder another fan because the first one was faulty. Now that I have a good working fan, I'm very happy I bought it! December 11, 2015
