Very nice fan. Very quiet, easy to install, good instructions and made (assembled) in America.
Good project for a beginner. I use a wall switch to control the night lite, light and fan separately.. Just had to run one 14-2 15 foot wire from fan to wall switch. You will need to buy a 4 W night light if you want to use that option.
I thought the price was a bit high ($20 is much better) get it on sale if you can wait.
The quiet rating for this fan is what you must have for a small bathroom.
(the smaller the number the better the noise level is)
Overall, yes get this fan for a small bathroom.

replaced an old builder-grade Nutone with this when we redid our bathroom, and really glad we did - you can barely even hear it when it's running, which is a dramatic improvement over the old fan, at a reasonable price. The styling is nice (the glass cover is a nice touch since many of these cheaper fans use plastic that yellows over time), and the use of a CFL is good, though I would have preferred an LED.
Can't speak to ease of installation since our contractor did that, and haven't used it long enough to speak about durability.

I just had this fan installed over the weekend. It is extremely quiet, to the extent I couldn't even tell it was on. I would recommend this fan to anyone who is looking for a super quiet fan

Anyone who is mechanically inclined should be able to install one of these. Little time consuming, but well worth it. Tad bit louder than the 50cfm unit, but still totally bearable. As our old one sounded like a Cessna landing in the bathroom! Does a wonderful job expelling steam, and toxic odors!

My bathroom needed 52 cfm, based on the sqft rule. I opted for the 80, for that little more airflow, and the sound rating (quieter than the 50). We both love the fan for the low noise and the nice look. It does make noise, but pretty much anything else will make more noise than the fan. Also, this fan does not have a sensor, but I used one from HD, and it works perfect. The sensor default settings allows for auto on with humidity, and turns off 10min after its below the set point...manual on is one for 10min, then off. Very nice upgrade, though not inexpensive.
My only complaint for use will be in changing the bulb when it burns out, I would suggest installing an LED so you never touch it again. You will need a step ladder to easily hold the cover while trying to insert the spring/clippy things that hold it up....it does hold it snug, so no gaps, and no risk of falling....once you can get it in place. There is a nightlight, but very little space, and didn't need it (does not come with nightlight bulb, only the main one)
I contemplated docking it a star for installation and the other issues, but since that only accounts for a small part of the ownership, instead I will just complain about it. Installation/mounting the thing was a b.....bear. First off, the slide things are near impossible to slide once in place. I'd suggest using a ruler/tape to measure the gap from the fan to the stud, and then set the distance....I had to use the hammer to move it after a short distance. Also, you will need a lot of clearance for installation...I was in a edge of a slopped roof I had many choice words in a hot attic. If the rails had been screwed to the fan, installation would have been sooooo much easier.
Side note, the rails do screw to the studs....once in place, hanging from the screws, add another one at the bottom of the slot (key hole type pattern) BEFORE you attach the light fixture....or you will just push it up and out, and need another trip to the attic.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by mtnpals We like low noise.
Our application was a retrofit for a noisy fan with no light. We needed more light for the bath and shower and this light worked well to illuminate the area. We also wanted low noise and this fan is definitely low noise over the previous fan. Our ceiling was not standard so the installation was not the easiest.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by momofdcn Great light and fan.
I really like the low profile look of this light/fan. The fan is extremely quiet. The light is just right for a small bathroom.
