It was easy to follow instructions and set up myself. I set it up on my tile patio. To plug it in the motor had to be placed next to my bedroom window. It hasn't bothered my sleeping, the pump is very quiet. But, when you turn on the jets it is noisy and too strong for the small size of the tub. Thus I use it more as a hot tub. I've had it for about one month and I have been in it about two times daily. I love it. I must mention that the fitting between the motor and tub leaked at first but has stopped after a couple of weeks. I thought I might have to break it down, dry and seal it. But since it has stopped I jut keep my eye on it.
It is very comfortable and just right for one or two people.

I see one of the reasons you can only buy this spa online...if you saw it in person you might not buy it. For one thing, the photo doesn't show that the unattractive and massive black heat pump sticks out about 36" from the side. Even though it fits nicely against the side of a patio or fence (in our case a lattice), the heat pump sticks way out. Takes up so much room and looks terrible. No way of hiding it. Additionally, the shipping is incredibly slow. After waiting for it to arrive at Home Depot and finally getting it home and setting it up, we discovered that the heat pump had a crack in it and the outer plastic cover had a small hole in it. The company would not take responsibility for the cover (we had to patch it ourselves) but would pay for UPS to ship the heat pump back for repair. So we had to wait several more weeks for a refurbished one to arrive back to our house (even though to paid thousands for a new spa). The heat pump didn't contain all of the parts so we had to call up the company and they shipped the additional parts 2nd day air. After a week, the quilted cover got a hole in it too, though we were quite delicate with it. All in all, it is a rip off. If it wasn't for the fact that I needed a portable hot tub/spa that I could lay down in, I would never have gotten this one. I find it astonishing that it is the only one out there. I wonder how much longer it will last. I've only been using it 2 weeks.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by morgandc Glad I bought this spa
I have been looking for a spa to fit my narrow patio area for over a year now. I seriously got to looking and found this. Shape is perfect- I ended up buying a green airi skin to wrap around it which gives it a nice look. My girlfriend and I are in this spa every night just about. Only fault I can find is that it doesn't have a light inside like a lot of more expensive hot tubs.
