Customer Questions & Answers

does it provide clean power

ned it to be able to run computers and home medical equipment
Asked by: Gridlokd
if you want clean power flowing to your sensitive items like comp, etc you should have a batteries back ups going to the items either one big one or just little ones going to your systems. batteries back ups always try to maintain 120 V. along with the 60 cycles. if the generators drops below 120 V & 60 cycle.. may be due to bad gas or what ever, the batteries will kick in to maintain proper smooth flow until the generator or home feed come up to par, even your home feed from your utility could run low but you do not know this until your motors or computers over heat which is not good.. well i hope this helps, sorry i am not good with grammar or spelling.

I tried to answer your question twice but HD refused to post. I would shop around because there are better deals than HD with same product. You can save fifty percent.

10,000-Watt Gasoline Powered Portable Generator with Mobility Cart, Electric Start is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 52.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This generator is legit. This is powerful, large, and heavy. I'm happy it's on wheels. I store it in my basement (when not using it - It's GAS, use it outside!) It was a family effort to get it down there. The handles and wheels helped quite a bit on that journey. Pros -- It has enough power to run most of your home and especially key items like furnace, sump pump, appliances, lights, etc. You will likely need an electrician to assist if you plan on using it at your electrical/breaker box. Otherwise you are running some cords, lots of cords. It has solid rubber tires so nothing to air up or maintain on that. It started up quick and the electric start is a plus and worked perfectly. The power was good. I tested all outlet and no issues. All tested devices reacted well to the generator. Cons – It’s loud, but that should not be a surprise with a 10,000 watt generator. No fuel gauge. That would be so nice and something I appreciate immensely on generators. With no fuel gauge, you are eye balling it. The instructions!! This really must be fixed. This surely is the worst set of instructions and assembly notes I have ever seen. They owe it to their customers to resolve this. Not everyone is an expert on these types of units. Some people may have issues understanding how to operate and leverage the benefits since the instructions are severely lacking. This is not a big deal, but have some oil on hand. It’s not included in the box. I added a few photos of the box and generator right after I removed it from the box and assembled it. Overall, it's a nice generator and it's priced right. I had no issues with mine and now I have some additional peace of mind when I need it. I recommend this unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Power To Spare Talk about power to spare, This generator will run everything in my house in the event of a power outage. Like last night, but the power didn't stay off long enough for me to get the generator going. It is extremely mobile due too the hard tires on the chassis. It is easy to start with the auto start process, no more pulling your guts out trying to start a generator. Just a flip of the switch and the generator roared to life and within a few minutes it was ready to take the load. It is my hope to get a cutoff on my house so I can just plug it in and it would be ready for the power outage. Gasoline engine is not to bad as far as noise goes and as with any gas engine venting the engine to the atmosphere is a must. this is a great generator for my use and home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All Power 10,000 watt generator Put together easy. Start up easy. No oil comes w/product so be prepared. We're off grid in Wyoming & need generator almost every night during winter for our electric furnace. Temps have gotten down to -25 but generator has not failed us. Quieter than the Generac 7500 we had. Needed to upgrade wattage & didn't want another Generac. Took a chance on this All Power generator for the good price & haven't yet been disappointed. Even takes on our electric dryer which the Generac would shake & studder, but All Power handled smoothly. We've only had it for two weeks, but so far so good & are quite amazed by it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HEAVY DUTY POWER This generator is not a lightweight. It seems to produce a great deal of energy. I have not had to use it for power outages yet (there are storms brewing as I write this), but I think it will produce the power I need to keep the necessary appliances powered up in a storm. It is a heavy unit. While it is called a "portable" generator and has wheels, I wouldn't want to have to use it anywhere but on ground level. I believe it weighs nearly 200 pounds so lifting it to go anywhere won't happen for me. It is a bit loud, but what do you expect from this sized generator.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good generator A bit more noisy than advertised, but it starts easily, runs well and produces power. So it does all that I need it to do. Less money than the competition, but appears to be the same generator that's sold under various other names.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Generator In Florida, it is essential to have a reliable generator in the event of a prolonged power outage as a result of a storm. This 10,000 Watt generator is powerful enough to keep your essential appliances running. Our house is equipped with a separate electrical panel that we can tie the generator in so that only the essentials are powered thus making efficient use of the generator's power. This a gasoline powered generator, so there is no special hookup needed for a propane tank. This is hard to maneuver and position simply because the weight of the unit; this thing is heavy! It comes with a users manual which you will want come the time you have fire it up in an emergency. So far it is working well, but I cannot attest to the longevity of the life of the unit as we only recently received it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No regrets I bought this product a couple years ago. I have tested it, but never used it. I decided to test it again after it had been sitting for about 18 months. It started on the first pull. (Battery had no charge, but I expected that). I use Sea Foam for storage, but keep it outside in a protected mini shed. When I tested it 18 months ago, I hooked it up to my load center and was able to run everything in the house including central air. Most of my appliances are gas, so 10,000 is ample for everything. I didn't have to decide what circuits I wanted to use....just used them all. I will say, however, that CFL light bulbs cannot handle the dirty power and they will blow. I didn't try my computer, but I did try televisions and they worked fine.

I have not been able to use generator because the wheels and handles are not on. Also, there is no power cord. However, I hope to find someone who will help me get it setup before another hurricane hits. The picture made me think it was already assembled.
