I have 1.2 acres with 18 trees, mostly Oaks. I waited until all of the leaves were on the ground. I had a blanket of leaves everywhere. What would have taken several days of raking took about 8 hours over a couple of days. The extra capacity is great. Assembly instructions were very clear and the actual assembly took me about 40 minutes. NO missing parts!! The sweeper is very sturdy and well made. While this thing picks up dry leaves with no problems, it also picks up damp leaves, pine needles, mulched leaves, and fallen sticks up to 3/4 inch in diameter. You will wonder why you waited so long to get this.

Easy to put together. Easy to use. Easy to dump and works better than my old bagger unit on the tractor. Cost less than the bagger unit. Easy to store. Met my expectations. All in all "Not too shabby!"

I'am 71 years young, my eye sight not at its best and I was able to put it toghther and was up and running in just a couple short hours. I have an arce of lawn and I was able to sweep up what it would have taken me 4-5 days in just an hour or so...

I needed something to get rid of the clippings after I mowed my large yard. This sweeper does the job and does it well. It allows me to mow the whole yard without stopping to empty tractor bags. One pass does my entire 3/4 acre lawn and leaves it looking finished with no debris build up. It was easy to assemble and works great. Thanks Home Depot for this quality product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dusty50 Great for the small farm- haylage maker
Bought this product to use to gather grass clippings for our small farm, goats, mule, chickens, ect. Making haylage for the winter. Picks up great! Easy to unload. Have 1 acre grass cuttings, works good picking up. Have had about 2 months and so far no issues. Make sure you don't use near vines because the grass sweeper will get tangled. I recommend, works great.

Our 18 yo sweeper finally bit the dust so we were in need of a replacement. I shopped the websites and decided on the AllFitHD based on best price and customer reviews. It does not disappoint.
It arrived promptly in good condition. It took me a leisurely hour to put it together by myself (62 yo woman if that matters) with easy to follow instructions. The 3 position hitch adjustment makes it easy to tow with any lawn tractor and the swinging hopper bag and extra long pull rope makes my husband's task a breeze.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by minionsweb semi effective, difficult to dial in, inferior fittings components
When it is dialed in it works pretty well.
I have had what I considered a better unit for 14 years.
But the same unit is no longer made and the replacement version wasn't available locally.
I went with a trade off, clean up width meets hopper capacity meets pricing, this has decent capacity, standard tractor width, and a reasonably price.
In use, using it as just a sweeper for uncut leaves will take forever.
If you use this without mowing/mulching first, the hopper will fill in moments.
Regular raking of our property yields 60+ leaf bags when mulched.
I am a huge proponent of dethatching when sweeping, and have been able to add the agrifab dethatcher to the sweeper (not bought from home depot and has shortcomings).
More at the end.
Assembly s pretty straightfoward and can be accomplished in less than an hour.
I did find that 2 steps were omitted from the instructions, regarding fishing the hopper pivot bar through the hopper fabric sleeve.
However, that can be resolved by removing one cotter pin and slipping to pivot rod through the sleeve later.
About cotter pins, this kit includes very poor quality pins.
With a total of 7 hours of use on an acre of predominantly flat lawn, and with a mix of 27 large deciduous trees and shrubs, the hopper hinge pin, cotter and washers have vanished into the land, as has the washer and cotter for one end of the hopper pivot.
The dirty fix was to use 1/4-20 hex head bolt, a pair of washers and a plastic insert lock nut for the hopper hinge, a washer and a large paper clip for the pivot.
Thing is, you shouldnt have to fix a product 2 uses into its life.
As mentioned above, my previous model lasted 14 years without need of repair, and it was used hundreds if not thousands of hours, until I finally drove the wheels off.
The sweeper catches a lot, but not perfect, I believe due to the inability to level the tow bar any further on my Deere X304 tail hitch.
My thought is it will take a plate washer under the hitch to permit the bar to be closer to level, or a modification to the tail hitch to permit make the mount point higher.
I would be better if the sweeper hitch assembly could be moved up and down to accommodate more tractors.
I do not think the write up mentions the unit being collapsible, but it can be broken down some for storage.
The hopper is connected to the sweeper with spring loaded lock pins, so it can be pulled off the sweeper body, and the uprights in the back of the hopper can be pulled out to collapse the hopper nearly flat.
The hitch bar can be removed as well from the sweeper body, freeing up more space.
I believe the sweeper can then be stood on end so it takes up less floor space.
Will determine that soon when it is put away for the winter after final yard clean up.
When used with a mover running, the sweeper can pick up a good bit of yard debris.
Make sure all is relatively dry, if wet you can get more in the hopper, however weight will be beyond manageable.
I can tell you I have unloaded about 200 lbs of semi wet material from the hopper and it is NOT easy if you arent dumping. I remove the hopper and dump the contents on a mulch pile. When wet, yowser!
Instructions needs a little improvement.
Obviously, fastener parts are inferior and be prepared to replace.
When loaded the hopper may buckle when lifted, use care.
I suspect the hopper supports will fail first from the loaded weight of the hopper, the tubes will flair and deform given time.
The hitch may or may not work with your tractor, it needs to have additional adjustability.
Aside from those points, I believe this is a decent product, just in need some fine tuning.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by voodooman A useful tool with some limitations
Setup from Box to operation is about 2 hours - one handy person. Assembled it's quite large and I put a tarp on it to store it outside although it can be broken into two pieces for easier storage the pieces are still big. It does sweep leaves and small branches better than expected. It would be much easier to use if it had a way to disengage the sweeper when the hopper was full.
