Customer Reviews

9 cu. ft. Steel Dump Cart is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 65.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very cheap. Definitely not worth the $99.00. I loaded it up with split firewood and drove around the other side of my house. After the first trip the sides bent out enough that the tailgate fell off. I hand stacked the wood in there so there was no abuse on it in that sense and I towed it nice and slow. If I knew ahead of time, I would of spent more money on a higher quality cart. Going to add some steel to it to strengthen it up and it should be fine after that.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A little flimsy, but it'll work ... First off, don't even attempt to put 350lbs in this thing! This cart is very flimsy and the medal is thin. There are no bearing to support the wheels on the axle so the 350 lb. load rating is a little optimistic at best, but a little grease on the axles helps. The wheels are held on with cotter pins and washers. If you use the dump feature be careful because it's easy to tweak the frame. I had planned to use this cart around the yard to carry firewood but maybe it'll work better at handling potting soil mixing duties instead. Would I recommend it? Yes - as long as you understand it's VERY light weight and you forget the 350 lb. load claims!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Thinnest steel ever Feels more like aluminum. I bent the side just picking up the cart after I assembled it. Not satisfied. Don't waste your money on this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very light duty. Very thin metal If you are looking for something that can handle some weight don't bother with this one. The metal is very thin and mine bent in the middle with under 100 lbs in it. The 350 pound rating is a complete joke. I had a similar one for 12 years that was used, abused and held up like a champ. I will be surprised if I get a summer out of this one. Don't waste your money unless you want a very light weight trailer for putting around. If you want something that you can actually get some work out of, look elsewhere. In my opinion, this was a waste of $100. I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 because it will work if you only want to carry very light stuff.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do not expect to load anything heavy After only using for a few hours I can say that this thing is junk. I used it to haul some firewood around yard and some debris it worked very well. However I put some dry dirt in it (a less than level with the top amount) and the axle and axle holder bent completely down. The one wheel tweeked and is seized due to the twisting. For very light around the yard stuff this thing is adequate and a great value. But is junk if you plan on carrying anything with some weight. I can also see how the latch for dumping can quickly bend too. I will be back to store tomorrow to spend twice as much and hopefully get something that can be used.
