Product Overview

AllergyZone furnace and air conditioning filters are designed and recommended by leading allergy and asthma physicians for superior performance and symptom relief. They capture up to 95% of airborne particles and minimize exposure to smaller contaminants that may trigger allergy and asthma symptoms, while allowing excellent air flow throughout the life of the filter. A Children’s Hospital Healthy Home study supported in part by The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) showed a decrease in asthma related symptoms (wheezing and cough) when HVAC systems were serviced with an AllergyZone filter. AllergyZone filters are constructed using only premium grade components, including a 2-piece double wall frame for durability in the air stream and a unique filter media that will not support microbial growth.

  • Only filter proven effective in a clinical trial
  • Pleated filter media is 500% more effective than ordinary fiberglass filters
  • Turns your HVAC system into a whole house air cleaner for just pennies a day
  • Lasts up to 90 days between filter changes
  • Professional grade construction for superior performance and durability
  • Dual-layer electrostatic filtration media improves small particle capture
  • Filter thickness is an 1/8 in. greater than other brands which reduces leakage of dirty around the filter and the holding frame

Answer:
No, it does not matter. The filter will fit a 24 x 20 or a 20 x 24 holder.

Answer:
Yes, you should be able to rotate your filter with no problem. As long as you have the edges supported and the lattice is facing the blower, you should have no problems.

Answer:
HVAC systems are expensive to replace and/or repair. I personally would buy filters that are the exact size the unit requires.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by it works This was a different look than what I was use to put it works good and is eliminating some of the dust in here! September 13, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by just what the doctor ordered We have a young grandson who can have breathing problems from time to time, so I wanted to get a better filter for our house as we have dogs. Although he does not have an allergy to dogs I do want to make sure the air in the house is as clean as possible,. The filters are very well made, many more layers than a regular filter and very sturdy. They were the exact right size August 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Filter I've Used Allergy Zone Filters are the Best for me. Being a Allergy sufferer my whole Life, I'm always looking for a better Filter and I found one with Allergy Zone. These Filters block, Pollen Grains, Dog Dander, Dust Mites, Mold Spores and Cat Dander, up to 95%, for up to 90 days. They Deserve the 12 Rating they get. I personally check mine every month to make sure they don't need changing. November 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by More baffles to capture dust whilst keeping the air flowing The filters are supplied individually shrink wrapped. This filter is a 14x25x1 (inches) filter, with an actual size of 13.5 x 24.5 x0.8 (inches) The filter has almost twice as many baffles as the 3M filter I replaced, and also has a cardboard ribbed structure on both sides to prevent the filter from warping as air is drawn through it. It has a recommended 3 month life before changing. November 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Air Filter much needed The Air Filter Allergy Zone fits perfectly into the vent and be sure to follow the direction in which side to install. There is a arrow indicating the direction to insert the filter towards the Air Flow blue arrow. The air filter comes with 4 filters a years worth of usage. Change each filter at each quarter of the year (every 3 months. I used a marker to put in the date I installed the filter so I could remind myself when it's due for a change. October 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Performs well for removing airborne particles I used to use the cheap air filters that only had fiberglass material. I thought they worked OK but once I switched to AllergyZone filters I found out how poorly the others functioned. There are three features you want in an air filter. 1) The ability to trap particles 2) The amount of capacity to hold the dirt 3) The efficiency of the air flow. These AllergyZone filters perform all three functions very well. The ridged design provides more surface area and increases the holding capacity and the filter material traps the particles and still allows the air to flow through. A blocked filter causes your central air system to work harder and lowers the efficiency - and can lead to expensive repairs. That's why I want the best filters in my system and I've used these for years. I've noticed increased air flow with these filters and when the AC compressor runs less to keep the house at the same temperature, that saves me money in electricity costs and living in Southern California I need to save on my electric bills. I have a cat and a friend with allergies. Ever since I started using these filters my friend was surprised at how he quit sneezing when he came to visit, so they really do help with allergies. I replace them every 3 months and am very happy with their performance. June 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellant I have a 50 year old dusty house in Dallas , a dusty environment, and these filters worked like a champ. We go through air filters like paper towels, mostly because we have to use the cheap filters on our furnace/fan. The premium filters I have tried in the past clog up after a few days and the fan struggles to pull air to the extent that the filters end up misshapen. I don't know how these are different, but they last at least a month before needing changing and don't seem to hamper the air flow. They have worked great and have really cut down on our sneezing and coughing. January 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by High Quality Filters You can tell this is a high quality filter as soon as you take it out of the packaging. It's thick and it has far more pleats than the filter it replaced, giving it more surface area and enabling it to collect more dust. I checked the filters after 45 days and they still had plenty of life left in them, so I think they'll easily make it to the 90 day mark - something that doesn't usually happen around my house. I like that the color is yellow, it make it easier to tell when it's getting covered in dust than the traditional white or gray filters. So far I've had very few allergy symptoms, but the real test will be April - May when the pollen count gets high. I'm definitely excited to see if it provides a noticeable difference, and judging from their performance thus far, I'm optimistic! December 29, 2015
