Is this think enough to be used for a clothes rod?

I am wanting to use this as a clothes rod. I would cut it down to 4 ft sections. Would this be solid enough to hold it or would it bend due to the weight?

Did you know that the top rail of chain link fence is 1-3/8" and 10' long. It will do the same for 3 to 4 dollars less? Also consider a chain link fence post which is 1-5/8" if you need a longer span and a little stronger.

yes , there is no way you could bend it by hand and it would take a lot of weight to bend , your mounting would give way before it would bend .
