We had a temporary halt on laying our floor and the exposed sticky edges on the vinyl floor became dirty. My biggest concern was removing the old sticky residue from already laid floor. We used alcohol some and a straight edge to scrape up the sticky goo as best we could. Down side was the thickness of the tape made it so edges of floor don't completely line up. Hence the 4 out of 5 stars. I recommend this simply because I can't think of an alternative product to use in case the edges loose stickyness!

Very good adhesion. Great for repairs where glue strip has gotten dirty or for transitioning to separate room.

Very cheap product for cost. Worth 5 to 10.00 dollars tops. Buy different brand.

I purchased this tape "in case" I needed it. Glad I did. Unusual cuts of tile necessitated some places where I had to have it. It was easy to use. Amazingly the surface covered peeled off easily which is unusual for two-sided tape. It holds everything down. I even used to it hold a piece of tile to cove holes that had been placed into the side of a counter. Worked Wonderfully.

Works very well to rejuvenate the glue strip on allure resilient plank flooring and in doing repairs to allure plank flooring. As suggested in the product directions, it is best to go two-wide with this tape when applying to the glue strip as it will provide extra needed adhesion because this tape is narrow (approx. half the width of the plank's glue strip). The only down side to this product is its price: the cost of a roll including tax was about $20. Still, it was worth the cost as it did an excellent job for my recent floor repair.

I have used Allure flooring in 3 bathrooms (2 for a customer, 1 at home), and a customer's kitchen. An incident in the kitchen install caused the subfloor to fail, causing a about a 4" hole in the flooring, which required pulling up about 4 sq. ft. of the Allure flooring to repair with new. After replacing the faulty subfloor, I used the Allure 2-sided repair tape to renew adhesion to the existing flooring. Although somewhat challenging, the resulting repair looked "as good as new", leaving both the customer and I very pleased!
As a side note for others having to repair or replace Allure flooring: use a heat gun or hair dryer to allow for easier removal of existing materials. I used the hair dryer, and it worked fine.
