I purchased this tape "in case" I needed it. Glad I did. Unusual cuts of tile necessitated some places where I had to have it. It was easy to use. Amazingly the surface covered peeled off easily which is unusual for two-sided tape. It holds everything down. I even used to it hold a piece of tile to cove holes that had been placed into the side of a counter. Worked Wonderfully.

I have used Allure flooring in 3 bathrooms (2 for a customer, 1 at home), and a customer's kitchen. An incident in the kitchen install caused the subfloor to fail, causing a about a 4" hole in the flooring, which required pulling up about 4 sq. ft. of the Allure flooring to repair with new. After replacing the faulty subfloor, I used the Allure 2-sided repair tape to renew adhesion to the existing flooring. Although somewhat challenging, the resulting repair looked "as good as new", leaving both the customer and I very pleased!
As a side note for others having to repair or replace Allure flooring: use a heat gun or hair dryer to allow for easier removal of existing materials. I used the hair dryer, and it worked fine.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by KXM210 A must have product
For everyone who is installing Allure flooring this is a must have product. With 2 large dogs and even more cats, I live in a very furry world. This tape has saved me when I was not able to finish an entire project. Even after several weeks, with this tape, I was able to clean off the tabs and pick up where I left off and finish the job. This tape is also a great tool box item to keep for future repairs

The Allure double-sided installation tape I bought for insurance, just in case I needed it. Really happy that I did. The Allure planks went down easily enough and there were no problems. However, I had to stop midway due to reasons unrelated to my flooring project. My long haired dog, who sheds all year round, stays in the house, and his 4" silky hair was drawn to the sticky blue strips. The hair would not budge, due to the excellent sticking power of the planks. So, I had to use the double sided tape to fix it.

Works very well to rejuvenate the glue strip on allure resilient plank flooring and in doing repairs to allure plank flooring. As suggested in the product directions, it is best to go two-wide with this tape when applying to the glue strip as it will provide extra needed adhesion because this tape is narrow (approx. half the width of the plank's glue strip). The only down side to this product is its price: the cost of a roll including tax was about $20. Still, it was worth the cost as it did an excellent job for my recent floor repair.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JVan20 This tape came in real handy when installing our floor - glad it was available Online, it should be available in Stores
Due to the impossibility of alleviating pet fur in our home while installing our floor, this tape was awesome when a plank glue strip needed the extra "sticky". I highly recommend it. Although some patience is required when separating tape from protective strip. This tape should also be a required part of the materials upon ordering flooring.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by CALT Great Product
Installed over old tile floor after reading the many positive reviews. We were not disappointed. The ease of the installation was right on the mark. The finished product is beautiful; looks like real wood plank flooring without any of the worries. We have a large breed drooling dog, so we had concerns with nail scuffs, spilled drinking water, etc. We have had no issues whatsoever. Cleans easily. The only negative is areas near heat sources may not adhere as well and could lift up.

Great tape to refresh an adhesive tab on the planks, where needed.
