I have no problems with Alsa Nevada Silver base coat but am swearing off their candy colors as they are the worst paints of all time! I would rather use tiny cans of model paint than this vastly inferior product. They are expensive and all of them started spitting badly at the end ruining my paint jobs and causing runs. I had no runs up until the spitting. Half the cans also leaked RIGHT FROM THE START!!! This is very messy on the hands and the can itself and of course wastes paint. It didn't matter how much I shook the cans, how warm I kept them; they still acted up. I understand about ambient temperatures and humidity and they were not factors in my spraying environment. I always clear the nozzles by holding the cans upside down and spraying for a second or two but this did not help the situation. After my experience with these I am be switching to lacquers. The curing time is months but at least they will look good and I am not in a hurry to physically use any of my projects. I am emphatically and absolutely NOT recommending this product to anyone, not even the hobbyist. You are paying good money for something that will ruin all your prep work by making you have to start over. Alsa should be completely ashamed for releasing this and Home Depot should send their inventory back as it makes their own brand look bad!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JoeyEast Good quality paint, but the cap seemed to drip frequently.
Awesome finish and appearance. Will use again. The cap seemed unable to handle the amount of flow and dripped during use, otherwise awesome results.

I do a lot art projects and sometimes it's just not enough paint needed for me to use my gun, then spending the time to clean my spray gun. So I bought the killer cans for the ease of use and little cleanup. But hey clog so easy, I always turn them upside down to clear them and wipe the nozzle clean. But in the middle of spraying they start to spit and sputter, or just clog up and stop, not a good thing, even worse when spraying candie. Love Alsa paint but not killer cans! The price I paid for them I expected much better.

one wouldn't think that you could achieve professional quality results from a spray can. Killer Cans has come up with a paint that can achieve these results.
Prepare your surface as needed. Do a few practice coats on a scrap piece of material to get a sense of distance and how the spray applies to the surface.
Using the base coat recommended for the final finish, apply Killer Can paint as directed. I applied a clear coat as recommended.

The color of the paint is beautiful. Because I live in Michigan it has been impossible to find 50 degree temperatures in this frozen tundra. The paint needs at least 50 degrees to behave as expected. I like the paint because it is true to color and I would recommend it.

Because the paint is a candy color, it takes a lot of paint to get it to a nice dark med. blue. I used it on a motorcycle tank two fenders and it took about 7 1/2 cans. This was over a grey primer and silver auto paint. Also, very difficult not get any drip marks. Once done it looked pretty good.
